See the ad Ozor is talking about

I would also say it's fantastic. Another thing I quote constantly is "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico". It's so applicable.

Edit: Pagezor!

I really like the Nike "Impossible is nothing" ads. Espcially that new one with haile gebrselassie running against his 15 world records runs. Cool stuff..

Any Labatt Blue commercial with the bear. The best of that series "Softball" - "well, in that case, that's my roomate." "Hello." Best delievery of the word "hello" I've ever heard.

you can see it here: http://www.beer.com/beerdotcom/beerdotcom.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=the_brewskies# it's under the first section of ads-the USA ads.

There was this brilliant advert on for Cheesestrings or something. It basically involved a gang of stereotypical townies, with a man dressed up as a teenage girl townie (why do the British find men in drag so amusing?). Anyway he's saying stuff like "I left home when I was 9, my mum didn't even come look for me! I moving this way...but I'm also moving that way! These [the food product] really helped, they is mental!" ... and then her mum comes along saying something like "Dinkypoos! You don't want to get a wet botty sitting on that wall!"... :laff: Well I thought it was funny...

You know what commercial I like? That Tropicana commercial for low-carb orange juice(or some sort of nonsense) that shows all the oranges working out, doing jump rope, running on treadmills, etc. Something about it catches my eye.

I was at the bank today and the ATM screen had the bank's commercial playing on it. That was kind of cool. Seeing a TV commercial on an ATM amused me for some reason...

*bump* I can't stop laughing at the new N-Gage QD commercial. The guys in the elevator and he's like "JUMP! JUMP JUMP!" And then the guy on the street corner "INCOMING..DUCK!". Aww maan. What an awesome commercial. Also the 2 good Fedex ones: "You're fired.""You can't fire me.""Why not?""Because I quit.""You can't quit, I already fired you.""Well I decided to quit last Wednesday.""Well I decided to fire you last Tuesday.""<talks about Fedex>""When do you start?""I start today.""Welcom aboard." And: "If we don't get this package out we're al doomed.""Doomed.""Doomed.""Help this woman!""I'm fine.""She's in denial.""We need this package shipped.""Just take it to Fedex.""But what if I get a nasy paper cut?""Then you'll be doomed.""Doomed." Haha, there's probably more 'doomed's than that.

*Bumpy*

Just seen the best advert for Kit-Kats :laff:

All you see are these two guys in a staff room, yelling and shouting and banging cups and and hitting things. And one yells to another "DO YOU WANT A KIT-KAT?" And the other guys yells back "YEAH!"

Then this woman walks in and it goes deadly silent, then she starts screaming and the 2 guys start banging around again. Then it cuts away from the staff room and we see that they're in a library, and we see a sign saying quiet please. They were in a library staff room.

And the caption is: "Make the most of your break"

I thought it was great. Best advert I've seen around for a while :laff:

Starbuck's has a new drink in a can, and they have an ad for it where Survivor follows people around as they drink it, playing "Eye Of The Tiger" with lyrics about the guy they're following. For some reason, that never gets old.

I liked the Sports Illustrated ad with Ray Lewis peeling off a Band-Aid the first few times I saw it, but I got sick of it because they played it like a hundred times a day during the CSI marathon I watched way too much of.

How about this GEICO commercial?

"It's so easy to use Geico, a caveman can do it!"

"NOT COOL!"

Plus, I like the AFLAC Duck commercials as well.

I like the Cathay Pacific airways commercial that I see often on CNN, it's about this little girl who keeps on asking ‘how far is it?’ Until the Cathay pacific flight attendant gives her an ice-cream, and then she becomes quiet at last. I think it’s very cute.

I love that new KFC advert for the 99p fillet burger. The guy sings about if he knew he'd have asked the lady to get one, but as he didn't could he have a bite? And she replies with this really long vocal rendition; pauses, then carries on, and then caps it off with a simple "No" :laff: Anyone else seen that?...

Actually I also like the Nikon digital commercial. They took it off now and replaced with this other one that I don't like.

Well it’s this guy who discovered this girl sitting near him having a sad face. He goes around and took different pictures that form a smiling face from different things he can find. When he finished he took it to show the girl. She stopped being sad and laughs at his pictures, and they start communicating.

In the end they sing in a very high tone melody ‘Nikon Digital.’

It's from CNN so probably some Americans have seen it?

Getting tired though! how many times have they played it in the last week?

I love the American Nutrigrain advert (available here http://www.jengajam.com/r/nutrigrain_ad ). It should be played before all exams, because... well. You'll see.

EDIT: Takes a while to load, but definitely well worth the wait.

Anyone ever seen that commercial where it has the home video of the kid playing baseball where he swings the bat, then retracts his motion too far back and throws the bat into the big glass window and it says "People do stupid things."? Man, I love that commercial. And America's Funniest Home Videos. Laughing at dumbasses who fall on their faces doing stupid crap never gets old.

I saw a French commercial on TV today, kind of funny. A French guy invites a Chinese girl to his home. She gave him some cat food from China. She insists he give his cat to try.

Not to be rude he opens one packet of the Chinese cat food and when the girl is not looking he empties it in the bin. Then he opens another packet of ‘whiskers’ and put that packet of ‘whiskers’ inside the Chinese cat food packet.

He then pours the cat food in the cat's bowl in front of the Chinese girl. She is very happy and hugs him.

In the end the slogan in French 'the cat knows the difference!'

Anyone remember those NIKE commercials that were shown during the 2000 Olympics? I recall one of a gladiator chasing a skateboarder, and a circus elephant who wasn't breathing and a marathon runner gave it mouth to mouth. The one with the gladiator was banned because it was too violent or something.

The best Nike commercial was that one where a blob of fat was chasing a guy! Man that was hilarious! I also liked the Budweiser Frogs, but I thought those Penguins who sang an out of tune Frank Sinatra song were pointless, though. As for more Geico commercials, I liked the one where that man dropped the gecko, and that one about the shopping cart.

I seen this new Golf car advert where they take this Singing In The Rain scene and they use this main character’s head on another body that can do hip hop and break dancing movements in the street. It was pretty cool. Kind of better then the Citron one with the dancing car/robot.

I still say the best advert ever was the "Rushhour" short movie the BBC used for self advertising, it featured a guy with no shirt on, doing Parkour around the rooftops of a city, while Sway plays in the background.
If your lucky and see the uncut version, you get to see a nekkid woman playing a piano.

Anyone seen those comercials for Florida Orange Juice? One where it shows a guy saying, "If you want an ideal health drink......" then he starts putting rutabegs, salmon, and a banana in a blender. Another one was where he said to drink 'horehound soup' Then another one where he says, "go to a deserted island for 6 months!" This recent one has the guy putting almonds, limabeans, and something else I can't think of what it is in a juicer. The commericals always end saying, Or.....just have a glass of Florida orange juice"! Those commercials are hilarious!

Both of these adverts are stunning technological achievments. As a computer animator I was totally stunned looking at both of these. I couldn't believe how good they look. Isn't it interesting that many of the best adverts are for cars. Who can forget that one for.....well I forget which car it was :laff: but the advert that shows all the parts spread out in a room and they work like a stack of dominos. These adverts actually cross the line from marketing to true art. The new audi ad is V good too. It shows the car disintergrating into hundreds of floating letters that then re-assemble into the car.

OMG  I just saw this one AWESOME commercial! It was for the Visa Check Card I beileve. This lady has her wallet stolen and virtually EVERY SUPERHERO EVER and Spiderman come out to save her. Of course they cant save her, not even Spiderman. :laff:

I love grahpic novels so this commercial was a real thrill for me. The funniest part is the end, where UnderDog comes out.

I actually may buy this product.

Um, the only X-Men that I recall seeing were Wolverine and Storm. Captain America and Thor were there; maybe some of the other Avengers too.

My favorite ads lately are the Mr. Goodwrench ads. I like the one where the interviewer asks "If Mr. Goodwrench was a tool what would he be?" "A Wrench?" "Mitresaw is what we're looking for!" What the hell is a Mitresaw?!

Plus, I like the new Mr. Goodwrench commercial where the guy was looking into the carborator and the horn honked on him, and he bumped his head! Cracks me up everytime I see it! Looked like something Bender could've done to Fry!
