I know everybody dies one day but the thought that some people die everyday is rather disturbing; I'm glad I'm not one of them :evillaugh:

I was going to express my fake grief about Paul Walker's death with a sarcastic pun, but that would have been 2 crass 2 spurious.

Even The Onion couldn't bring themselves to add anything sarcastic in their obituary of him.  That's saying something!

RIP Roger Lloyd-Pack. Highly memorable for British PEELers (at least) as "Trigger" from Only Fools and Horses; "Owen" from Vicar of Dibley, and many others.

Why?  Oh, why do our lives have to be so ephemeral?

I don't really know if I'd consider this guy to be famous, but ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com contributor "JewWario" killed himself yesterday.  I never really followed the guy, but I believe this is the first time anyone I've ever even casually watched from the internet has died.

To make it even worse, his wife has said some pretty disturbing stuff about the moment when he shot himself.   :hmpf:

That's incredibly tragic. I'd seen him in numerous TGWTG videos and he always seemed to be full of joy. His poor wife...

I watch many TGWTG reviews, and I can't believe he's gone. The other contributors to the site must be taking it pretty hard, as well as his wife. How sad.  :(

I've been following this all day on Twitter. Everyone is taking it very hard. It's super weird to me because I met JewWario, who's from Colorado, at a pub where he hosted quiz night or whatever. He was very nice. But I realized the reason we were at the bar that night (and this was back in high school) was for my friend Ian's birthday, who just a few years ago, also shot himself. It's not a coincidence to anyone but me but I do understand what JewWario's friends and family must be feeling because I lived through that with Ian.

I've always liked Philip Seymour Hoffman, but after reading this headline from the AVClub it garnered a whole new kind of respect and an inside joke between my friends and I that made me smile every time I thought of him.

I am so bummed right now. RIP teenheartthrob.

Those too.

Rhetorical question...  When is the penny gonna finally drop about people's ambivalent attitude to addiction to drugs and alcohol?  I don't understand how people applaud people like Charlie Sheen for being a fuck up, and it's others who are dying left right and centre....

I personally don't know anybody who applauds Charlie Sheen for his lifestyle. Find it funny or entertaining, sure, but as a person I think most would agree he's a total loser who's destroyed his life.

The only thing I remember him from is It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World where I thought he gave the best performance in that movie and thus was surprised that he hadn't had more movie roles.

RIP in peace, Sid
