I saw Equestria Girls, it was really good.

Would like to see more Rarity in season 4, lots more! A new song from her would be awesome. :D

I would also love to have another Rarity episode; that's at the top of my wish list for season 4 since she's one of my favorites.

I hadn't really considered it much before, but now that Eternium has mentioned it, I'd like to see Twilight Sparkle flight lessons, too.

I haven't seen Equestria Girls yet; it doesn't open until the 13th in my area.  :(

Lots of love for Rarity, I'm surprised she didn't get an episode of her own in S3, but then again really happy AJ got a few.

-Twilight ep: flying lessons
-Rarity episode
-One of the CMC gets their cutiemark
-More Daring Doo
-Return of Gilda and/or Lightning Dust
-Sunset Shimmer returns aids Twilight against a new threat
-Mane 6 flashbacks/fillyhoods
-Return of Chrysalis and/or Sombra

^
His horn survived, maybe he can re-generate. It could happen! Only on the hub

If Sombra does return, I'd love to see some tempting Twilight/Mane 6 to turn to the dark side.

I've been hanging out for more info on Season 4, glad that they showed some clips (even if they are in storyboard form) at Comic Con.

[contains spoilers, watch at own risk]

Looks like the dvd came out today, I was watching some adventure time when I saw an uploaded version of the movie that was clearly DVD quality, no cam or whatever...

Ooooh, totally looking foreward to more luna/nightmare moon!

Still not in Australian cinema's yet. At least it's due to be out in cinemas before S4 starts, but now I've seen a rather illegal copy I feel obliged to go and pay for one viewing.

Trixie truly was the best in the film, even if her few appearances were short. Can't believe I didn't see this, but I'm so glad someone did:

I already caved and read the "Meanwhile" spoilers, so I'm going to try really hard to not watch those Season 4 animatics, but it's so tempting...I'll probably give in really soon.

But, hooray, only two more days until Equestria Girls comes out on DVD, and I can finally see it! I love that gif of Trixie dancing.  :laff:

20 more daaaays. Now I need to work out who to invite, and who would be weirded out by an invitation to go see a "kids" movie  :p

I remember waiting in a long line in at a theater with my half-brother one afternoon. Standing very conspicuously tall in a sea of youngsters and pre-teens as the line slowly inched forward, mentally wincing at the occasional not-quite-condescending glances from the theater staff.

We were bored that week and picked a newly-opening film out of the paper that we'd never heard of but looked kinda' interesting, even though it seemed like it might be more of a kid's movie. Two minutes into the film we were completely blown away and had forgotten all about our earlier embarrassment.

Can I ask what movie it was? I felt extremely odd when going to see Finding Nemo, at least I had my younger brother with me to make it look like I was going with him.

And I feel the need to post this, cause this is damn awesome.

Nah I didn't, found it on tumblr, but it's very accurate.

My father would just look at me like I'd grown a second head if I even suggested watching it. And unfortunately he's not that find of Futurama either. But he'll watch Simpsons with me, that's something. Glad your father is happy to watch it with you!  :D

I have a friend I'm meeting with this arvo who's going to watch a couple of episodes, she's already seen the two-parter starter, and we're going to make it a weekly thing so she can catch up to me by the time the new eps come out so we can watch season 4 together.

Wow, that's amazing Anna! My dad would never watch any cartoons with me... He doesn't really take anything I do seriously. My sister keeps on talking about the money I am wasting buying ponies(And I only have 3, pffft). My mom knows but that's all. And my friends just say I'm weird and say only pedo's and little kids watch this show. (But they did promise they would dare to walk next to me once I've bought AT, MLP and BW merch on WeLoveFine :D)

Yes, I'm pretty lucky that my dad will watch MLP with me, but my friends say basically the same things about it that yours do. My mom just thinks it's weird that I like a "kids' show" and that buying merch is crazy.

(But they did promise they would dare to walk next to me once I've bought AT, MLP and BW merch on WeLoveFine :D)

I wore my MLP shirt to class today, and my friends actually let themselves be seen with me, too!  :D

I finally created my own OC! It tooki me forever, and some of the lines aren't very smooth but for a first time I think it's pretty good! ;D

Very nice Eternium :)

Random question, has anyone encountered a fellow Brony by chance in public and...er... felt entirely unsure about how or whether to say hello?

For instance, yesterday I was working on a TV production, stood in a line waiting for costume and one of my colleagues was drawing in a sketchbook and I noticed it was a pretty darn good drawing of Twilight. Stood by him for quite a while, though he didn't notice me looking at his work, but yeah, he's a fellow Extra, he's a fellow artist (oh, and he's a fellow mlp fan obviously) and I didn't say anything to him. Whereas last week on another production there was one of the crew was wearing an N7 t-shirt (Mass Effect in other words) and a whole bunch of other cast and crew were asking him what it stood for, and yet me, sat some distance away, was confident to put my hand up and explain in the most nerdiest way I could muster.

:hmpf:

I don't know whether it's a niche thing. It wasn't so much that I was too ashamed to say hello, or maybe it was simply, if I discount the idea of saying "aw mah gawd, you like my little pony too!!!" or "that's a nice drawing" (because that would be far too sensible), what's the best way of highlighting our common interests? I thought about whistling Pinkie's Brew...but it's still just too weird.

:hmpf:

Unfortunately, because he had his head down drawing, I can't really recall his face. Ironically I may be able to recall the drawing, so if I see it on derpibooru or some such place, I may then say hello. Because that won't be awkward at all...

You're lucky to ever encounter one in the first place, if I'd meet some other brony I think I'd just say '... is best pony' or something like that. tap on skler shoulder and just stand there with a big smile? :D

I'm glad. :D

Also, Zed, if you don't feel comfortable 'honking' them on the nose, perhaps you should have complimented him on his drawing along the lines of 'That's an awesome picture of Twilight - is she your favourite?' And then not only have you established yourself as someone who's knowlegdable of the characters, but also got a conversation starter.

I've done that once to a passerby with a DJ Pon-3 top, "Nice shirt!" was all I said, and said "woo!" and offered me a bro-hoof as he walked past.

Love me a good character analysis.

That's a great find there, TLF (I was about to call you "Sticky Widget", since your avatar is sticky).

I had a similar but different idea in mind. It's a great comparison and I wish I had made it first. Anyways, as the mane six are a group of "pretty-legendary" friends, I think that each possible relationship should be showcased within the series. There is another chart floating around on the interwebs, maybe DeviantArt, that describes the relationships between two ponies, such as Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are both from Cloudsdale. The television series has already showcased several relationships, so this idea of featuring every possible relationship in their own episode is tangible.

Here's a brief breakdown of all the relationships (plus Spike, even though he's not a pony). Note the episodes accompanied with an asterisk can be debated whether or not the friendship was prominently featured.

Twilight + Applejack
Twilight + Rainbow Dash
Twilight + Pinkie Pie= "Feeling Pinkie Keen"
Twilight + Rarity= *"Sweet and Elite"
Twilight + Fluttershy= *"A Bird in the Hoof"
Applejack + Rainbow Dash= "Fall-Weathered Friends"
Applejack + Pinkie Pie
Applejack + Rarity
Applejack + Fluttershy
Rainbow Dash + Pinkie Pie
Rainbow Dash + Rarity
Rainbow Dash + Fluttershy
Pinkie Pie + Rarity
Pinkie Pie + Fluttershy
Rarity + Fluttershy= "Green is Not Your Color"

BONUS! Spike's Relationships
Twilight + Spike= *"Owl's Well that Ends Well"
Applejack + Spike= "Spike at Your Service"
Rainbow Dash + Spike
Pinkie Pie + Spike
Rarity + Spike
Fluttershy + Spike

My avatar is honey glazed, yo. In fact "Honey Glazed" was almost my username.

Moving on...

Twilight + Applejack = *"Applebuck Season"
Twilight + Rainbow Dash = "Games Ponies Play"
Applejack + Rarity = "Look Before You Sleep"
Rainbow Dash + Pinkie Pie = "Griffon the Brush-Off"
Rainbow Dash + Fluttershy = "Hurricane Fluttershy"
Rarity + Spike = "A Dog and Pony Show", "Secret of My Excess"

I'mma throw a bonus in of my own:
Applebloom + Applejack = "Bridle Gossip"
Sweetie Belle + Rarity = "Sisterhooves Social"
Scootaloo + Rainbow Dash = "Sleepless in Ponyville"
CMC + Spike = "Just for Sidekicks"
CMC + Fluttershy = "Stare Master"

It's not just pairing them up that makes for interesting character combinations, I particularly liked three combination; in this ep it just worked, even if they were just the secondary characters to Spike in this episode.

Honestly though, Rainbow Dash doesn't have to be a part of this story, it could have been just Rarity and Twilight following Spike, but RD makes it awesome. Also, I love that freezeframe, it's a very "ermagerd" collection of faces. Although my favourite freeze frame gag out of this particular episode is this one;
