"Virtu-Ron" and the "The Twin Factor" were awesome..."Twin Factor" especially, just for the mind-controlled Shego saying "I was looking for a Dodo bird!"

I'm just disappointed that episodes like "Tick, Tick, Tick" and "Steal Wheels" didn't make the list.

Disney is not airing "Rappin' Drakken" on May 6.  Instead they are airing a rerun.  No info on when the next new episode will air.

I also found out that Disney will be doing a crossover.  Kim Possible will meet Disney's Lilo and Stitch on an upcoming episode of Lilo and Stitch.  Tvtome has an L/S episode called "Rufus", but no date as to when it will air.

I'm not kidding.  The L/S episode is called "Rufus", most likely this is the KP crossover.

So The Drama DVD comes out tomorrow.  I plan to get my copy.

Hey Ravenstar, I just got StD on DVD.  How about you?

Here's a special treat that isn't on the DVD.  It's a music video made by a KP fan.  It features the song, "Could It Be" sung by Christy Romano and it features clips from StD and other episodes.  It is really great.

Thanks for the info Ravenstar.  There's actually news about two new Kim Possible video games coming out
this summer and fall.

Disney's Kim Possible 3: Team Possible

Quote
Disney's Kim Possible 3: Team Possible brings Kim Possible back to the Game Boy(R)Advance.  Based on Disney Channel's popular animated television series "Disney's Kim Possible," the game offers a unique twist -- Kim is teamed with Ron Stoppable for the first time, and together, they battle evil villains such as Monkey/Gorilla Fist, Senor Senior, Jr., Shego and the evil Dr. Drakken to save the world!  Players can switch between Kim and Ron and master their unique gadgets, such as the Grappling Hook, Sonic Mines, Rocket Rollerblades and more.  Single and multi-player action make for varied game play over 3 expansive environments, and collectible trading cards and unlockable mini-games featuring Rufus, the naked mole rat, keep the fun going!  Disney's Kim Possible 3: Team Possible is slated for release in summer 2005.

Disney's Kim Possible: Kimmunicator for Nintendo DS

Quote
Disney's Kim Possible: Kimmunicator for Nintendo DS(TM) brings Kim Possible, everyone's favorite crime-fighting cheerleader, into her latest 3D action-packed adventure.  Players join Kim in a multi-part adventure that combines non-stop action and tongue-in-cheek humor with numerous appearances and cameos by classic Kim Possible villains.  Over 15 action-packed levels, players can hack villains' computers, assemble gadgets and unscramble area maps for Kim with the Kimmunicator through the Touch Screen and microphone. Drakken is back and managed to kidnap Wade, forcing him to develop yet another Doomsday Device and depriving Kim of a key resource in her fight against evil at the same time!  Step in as Wade's replacement and help Kim (and Rufus the naked mole rat) go undercover to rescue Wade and foil Drakken's fiendish plans before it's too late!  Disney's Kim Possible: Kimmunicator is scheduled to release in fall 2005.

I just saw the newest episode of "Codename Kids Next Door" on cartoon network.  They'll reair it Saturday morning at 9am.

Operation: S.N.O.W.I.N.G. was a great episode.  It had many references from Star Wars, mostly from "Empire Strikes Back".  They parodied the snow walker battle seen and it was very clever having Numbah 1 be like Luke Skywalker and having the Fourth Grade President be Darth Vader.

Attention Ravenstar, Spacedal11 and anyone else.  A KP fan was able to find an audio commentary of Kim Possible director Steve Loter and the show's creators.  It also features John DiMaggio.  DiMaggio is funny in this commentary just like he is in the Futurama commentary.

This commentary is about 50 mins long.

Listen up Kim Possible fans! I've managed to receive this news from a KP fan.  Tuesday, June 7th, has been dubbed KP Day by the folks at SaveDisneyShows and MissionKimPossible. If you haven't checked them out yet, do so now! They are dedicated to getting Kim past 65 episodes and any support is appreciated.

So what is KP Day? The leaders of SDS and MKP are organizing fans to mail letters/petitions, send email, make phone calls, etc. to Disney on the 7th to try to keep the show going. (And for you trivia buffs out there - June 7th is KP's anniversary!)  It first aired on June 7, 2002.

Please join in the fight! If we all cooperate, and Disney sees how much we love the show, we just might get them to rethink their policy! Keep KP Alive After 65!

Futurama and Kim Possible will collide.  Well not exactly.

ABC Family will feature a TV movie starring Futurama's Katey Sagal and Kim Possible's Christy Carlson Romano.

Romano will actually play the daughter of Sagal's character.

Kim Possible is consider often imitated but never duplicate.  There are shows now that KP fans say that borrow from Kim Possible.  Shows like Danny Phantom, American Dragon: Jake Long and The Life and Times of Juniper Lee.

In fact many fans have pointed out the following:

Junpier Lee's a girl who battles evil (albeit a spiritual/paranormal evil) while balancing a life in school (complete with a crush or two). One major difference is that Juniper is listed as 11 years old, versus KP's age of 16.

She jumps and flips, apparently defying gravity in order to catch and defeat her prey.

Her "primary" outfit is blue pants (jeans, most likely) - and a green midriff shirt (albeit with sleeves).

The artistic style of this cartoon is eerily similar to that of KP - complete with the fact that only Juniper's upper lip is colored!

This is what I had to say.

I've seen the scene where Juniper is chasing that zombie. It was funny, but I noticed the KP similarities. I don't know what to think of this show as of yet.

Also, if we are talking about similarities, I remember a while back where people said that Kim Possible was just a female version of Jonny Quest.

Jonny Quest- Kim Possible constantly always having to fight villains.

Dr. Benton Quest- Mr. Dr. Possible, since both had no problem that their kids were always in constant danger.

Hadji- had the sidekick role like Ron, but was smart much like Wade

Bandit- Animal sidekick just like Rufus

Roger "Race" Bannon- Took care of the boys, and watched over them while their dad was busy. He always knew how to use weapons and let the kids use them, much how like how Wade gave weapons to Kim.

Dr. Zin- villain just like Dr. Drakken

Of course that wasn't the case. Kim Possible is not a rip-off of Jonny Quest, but has similar references.

I was a big Jonny Quest fan and I think he paved the way for Kim Possible, Totally Spies, Danny Phantom, Jake Long, Juniper Lee and such. But each of these shows have their originality, that you couldn't call them complete rip-offs.

All of these cartoons with girl heroes were inspired by the popularity of Sailor Moon back in the mid 90s.

I have some more news.

first a treat.  Another KP fan has done a KP video.  "Through Her Eyes" and it's a good song.  The clips are a little blurrly, but you can still see it clearly.

Also, at Disney.com, fans can click to see which new episode will air on Sat 25 and 8pm.  You can choose between Rappin' Drakken or Team Impossible.  You could choose Team Impossible, because it's the final episode of the series before So The Drama and we get to see Wade in person.  Or choose Rappin' Drakken featuring the rappings of John DiMaggio and the rap song "Naked Mole Rap".

I just found out from a KP fan on what the upcoming LS/KP Crossover may be about.

Quote
The crossover is about Kim and Ron getting a call from Hawaii, and the call is made by Lilo because she and Stitch are having a hard time stopping the new experiment and they find Kim's website and give her a call. Kim and Ron's high school will be in this episode. The episode is to take place during the summer, after High School, and Kim and Ron are dating during the episode, they get the call during their date. The crossover just recently got out of Production after a few weeks.

The episode is entitled "Rufus" and this episode will be set after the StD movie.  We get to see Kim and Ron as a real couple.  Still no word when this episode will air and no idea who will be the villain, if any.

I was aware of "That's So Raven" and I understand it's due to a contract agreement in Raven's contract and the fact the show is popular.

I also learned this thanks to newrating.com

Quote
NEW YORK, July 9 (newratings.com) – The two year feud between Walt Disney (DIS.NYS) and the company's former directors Roy Disney and Stanley P Gold has ended.

The former directors of Walt Disney, Roy Disney and Stanley P Gold, announced on Friday that they have agreed not to run a rival slate of directors or submit shareholder resolutions regarding selecting a new CEO for the forthcoming five years. Walt Disney, in exchange for the move, has appointed Roy Disney as the director emeritus and a consultant of the company. Both the former directors have agreed to dismiss all the pending lawsuits against Walt Disney. Roy Disney resigned in November 2003 from the company, which his uncle founded, due to serious differences of opinion regarding management style. Walt Disney welcomed the re-establishment of a relationship with Roy Disney and his family. Walt Disney's CEO, Michael Eisner, is instrumental in bringing a truce between the dissidents and the company.

I'm not sure how this could help Kim Possible, but other KP fans feel this is relevant and it's been proven that Roy Disney was one of the people in the SaveDisneyShows.com movement.

The animation of Kim Possible reminds me of the old HannaBarbera action cartoons.

 http://kptvtome.hostrocket.com/index.htm

It's actually from the old tvtome's department of Kim Possible.  A few months ago tvtome.com was sold and became tv.com.  They of course changed the look of the Kim Possible department that didn't please fans.

KP fans managed to save all the old information and created this new website, better than ever it's KP Tome.  It features, fan art, fan fiction, Episode Transcripts, and let's fans know on when the next new episode will air.

After seeing Team Impossible and L&S/KP crossover, they both were good.  I wish the crossover was longer than 30 mins, but it was still pretty corny.  Kim did seem a little out of character.  It was as if she didn't care for Lilo or Stitch and that's unusual for Kim.

There are only two remaining unaired Kim Possible episodes left and noone knows for sure when they will air.

The LS/Kp crossover was rather lame. It was predictable. Pleakly was obsessed with Kim and Kim got everyones name wrong every time she tried to say them. And i sincerely doubt Stitch knows what a naked mole rat is or would be able to identify one by smell alone. A few good lines here and there but generally about as lame as i was expecting it to be.
