1] Futurama
2] Junkyard wars
3] CVT Evening news (I'm old, what do you want)
4] Simpsons (though not the last couple of seasons)
5] M*A*S*H
6] WKRP (the original series, not the abomination they tried years later)
7] The original Bugs Bunny Roadrunner Hour
8] Hometime (I like to tinker around the house)

That's about it - I don't watch the box all that much any more.

Omigosh!  How could I forget MST3K?!  :o
I think I'll take Kim Possible off the list.  Lizzie McGuire's better anyway, but MST3K beats all.  :)

I couldn't put them in order, but the Simpsons, Futurama, Friends, BlackAdder, Will and Grace when I'm bored (rename it Jack and Karen), Frasier and anything made by Gerry Anderson would be among them.

What's wrong with Season Ten onwards? Is it 'cause Matt doesn't write it anymore?  :nono:

:laff:  They should rename it.  Will and Grace themselves are boring.  The supporting cast members are much funnier.

I'll have to come back to this thread later and list my favorite shows.  I'll probably split it into two lists: live action shows and cartoons.  I watch a lot of anime, though.  Maybe I should make a list for anime, and a list for non-Japanese cartoons.  Three lists, then.   :p

I know you're not asking me, but Matt didn't really write anything after the first few seasons anyway. In fact I get the feeling that he absolutely hates my two favorite seaons(5 and 6).

Season ten onward sucked because it was sucky. I don't think MG's involvement or lack thereof had a whole lot to do with it.

For me after series ten the stories became to surreal, the Japanese episode what was up with that? character traits alos seemed to become charactures of themselfs, Homer was stupid yes but now it's just pathetic.

Two points.  Firstly, Matt Groening cites Season 6 as his favourite one, and the episode he picks out as his favourites are usually from that season.

Second, I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but the Simpsons started faltering about the same time Futurama started.

Really? Can you give me an exact quote where he says season 6 is his favorite?

I remember a while back he wrote a "10 Best Episodes" list for some magazine, and he didn't include a single episode from seasons 5-6. Plus, season 6 is when they had that Critic/Simpsons crossover, which Groening didn't like at all(he had his name removed from the credits).

Granted, this is mostly speculation on my part, but I get the feeling that Matt didn't get along with the season 5/6 producers very well.

Yeah, what a surprise.  Usually when you kill off a comic book superhero they stay dead...   :hmpf:

Aquagirl was important to the story, though.  She was the first one to trust Batman, and her telepathy came in handy at the end of the story.

Nah, she's just really butch.  I think she's from Darkseid's planet, Apokolips.  Speaking of characters from Apokolips, I'm pretty sure that Granny Goodness is a man.  I mean, Ed Asner did Granny's voice.  What's up with that?

In no particular order:
Futurama - MG:s most brilliant creation
Family Guy - The characters! Brilliant!
The Simpsons - Beating a dead horse!
Star Trek TNG - Engage. The characters are brilliant. When I had no friends this show made me feel like, maybe I did.
South Park - Foul mouth humor at it's best.
Full house - I don't know why really. Michelle is cute  :)
Just shoot me - Back in the olden days I never missed an ep.
Croc files - Beauuuuuuuuttiifuuulllll animal!
Sex and the city - My substitue for South Park.
Star Trek DS9 - Onlu seen season 1 so far and I'm really looking forward to the rest.

    I no particular order:

    • Matador: Best Danish TV-production ever. Bar none.
    • Futurama: I guess I won't have to explain this one.  ;)
    • The Simpsons: Sure, the latest episodes suck, but seasons 2-7 were pure gold.
    • Red Dwarf: Gotta love those smegheads.
    • Star Trek - TNG: Data, Gordi and Jean-Luc makes this the best ST.
    • Buttom: Pure violence and unlimited stupidity. Doesn't get any better than that.
    • Family Guy: Always very amusing.
    • South Park: The newer ones are really reaching for a plot, but the old ones always crack me up.
    • The Julekalender: A Danish christmas themed show with 24 episodes. It only features a total of three actors, but it is nonetheless an x-mas classic.
    • Married...with Children: Al Bundy is the greatest loser there is.  :)
