Thankee!
Does anyone else think they do the whole J.D. and Elliot hooking up thing too much?

At least "The Worlds Most Giant Doctor!" makes up for it.

bump

No I like it that it basicly happens every season. Just finished watching my season 2 dvd the other day and I realised in season 2 there's a lot of sex. J.D got really lucky that season.

It's amazing
If you do dish out the money and buy season one on DVD (highly recommend) the audio commentaries are great. Damn NBC for putting it on hiatus!

I haven't seen it much recently. Ever since I started college last year I don't watch much tv... other than the fine programs on Fox  :p  The first season was the best anyway.

Dr. Kelso: Dr. Cox, did you get my memo stating that residents should wear their lab coats at all times?
Dr. Cox: Yes I did. At first I just threw it away, but then I thought, that's not grand enough a gesture; so I made a model of you out of straw, put my lab coat on it - with your memo in the pocket - and invited the neighborhood kids to set fire to it and beat it with sticks.

Ted: So what can I do you guys today buisness or just visiting.
J.D and Turk: What happens if we're hitting golf balls off the roof and it its a guy in the head.
Ted: So what can I do you guys today buisness or just visiting.

I really like that 25 minute episode in season 2 about Dr Cox's therapy and where we get to see what he thinks for once in his mind. Dr Cox and J.D are by far the best. I don't really like Elliot though.

Dunno if the aussies have seen it, but this week they started playing Scrubs every weekday, 2 eps, at 11am & 11:30am on Ch7.
It's usually some crappy sitcom, but this week they started from the first season of Scrubs - which is good cuz I've never seen it from the beginning.

It's on the real kind of hiatus, not the silly Futurama-style hiatus which equates to, "yeah, it's cancelled, but we can't be bothered to show the unaired episodes yet".

Scrubs received an order for seasons 4 and 5 back in 2003, so S5 is in production now, and will most likely be aired to replace one of the new shows which fails this year on NBC.

I've just been re-watching some episodes, and the one with the "epiphany toilet" made me laugh hard enough to scare the dog. Frigging genius! Also, is it just me, or does Eliot forget to pull her panties down when she's sitting on it?

That show was too damn clever.  My favorite bits:

Dr. Cox: (After having people compared to chocolates with nougat centers of goodness) Lady, people aren't chocolates. But you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.

Or the time JD has the old lady patient who refused treatment because she said she was ready to die.  A delivery guy walks in and has JD sign for a "ton of bricks," which physically hits him like the emotionality of the old woman's declaration.

Will there?  Or is it on hiatus like Futurama was on hiatus?  You'll forgive me for being skeptical, but I've been hurt by too many networks too many times in the past.

It's ironic really, because Scrubs is in a similar position to Futurama; the network has no interest in supporting it. With Futurama it was the lack of ownership rights, with Scrubs it's the fact that Touchstone, which is a sister company of ABC, produces the series. ABC was originally supposed to pick it up but passed at the last minute. So NBC picked it up, and since it's not made by their companies, they don't get any revenue from the DVDs, etc.

Scrubs is without a doubt the best new sitcome in years. A great show through and through.

Best of all, the Coxinator:

Dr. Cox: "Uh, Carla. Carla, have you, uh, have you seen Newbie?"
Carla: "Oh, he got off your leash?"
Dr. Cox: (laughing) "Give me a break. The kid's like... he's like a... have you ever seen a drunk baby?"
(Carla stares at him)
Dr. Cox: "Eh, it's a long story involving my son, a rum cake, and a low counter. Suffice to say, it turns out that, at first, it's... it's endearing to watch them bounce off of the walls, but man... you take your eyes off them for one second..." (hits the table) "and bam! They got a bucket on their head, and they're plowing right through your brand new flat screen TV." (whispering remorsefully) "God save me, it was barely out of the box."
(Carla continues to stare at him)
Dr. Cox: "The point is... Newbie is my drunk baby."

:laff:  :laff:  :laff: I loved that! ...I am a click top person too, personally.

It's great they are still showing reruns in the morning here in Sydney, but down to only one ep a day @ 11:30am. Except for today when they put the cricket on. Grr.

Oh and very late tuesday night, I think tuesdays. They are NEW eps to air here. But since I've never seen any season from start to finish I'm getting jumped around a bit.

This is definitely my new favourite sitcom  Yes, I'm aware i"m years behind everyone else, but I'm really making an effort this time! Weee!

Yes, finally found a working torrent for 503 and 504.  :D Now to wait 75 minutes until the download finshes.

::twidles thumbs::
::whistles::

COME OOOOOONNNN!

Anyway, whatever happened to Jake, Elliot's boyfriend? You know, the bastard who almost forced her to take a new job and then went mysteriously AWOL when she needed someone to give her moral support. "Elliot you should throw away everything you have now and apply for a new job. With your non-existent people skills I'm sure you'll make lots of new friends ... by the way I'm dumping you!" ... The bastard!!

Who would have thought that Christa Miller would be leaving one kick-ass show (The Drew Carey Show as Kate O'Brien) and be starring in another kick-ass show.  She's been working constantly on one show from 1995-2002 and on Scrubs from the beginning.

That's one lucky, good-lookin' woman.

I've got The first two seasons on dvd (thats all thats available so far here in Aus) I love it, it's so addictive, and it's also damn good to see a medical show thats NOT serious for a change, plus yes no laugh track = 1 000 000 000 points in my book heh
