Sure, Seinfeld's a whiny simp--that's the hook. Once you accept that the cast is made up of selfish asses, it can be an enjoyable show...myself, I haven't been able to enjoy shows like Home Improvement or Everybody Loves Raymond which feature level-headed, intelligent women who inexplicably remain married to giant man-babies and their insufferable in-laws...

I recently caught the episode where Lloyd Braun comes back into town after having a nervous breakdown. I laughed so hard I nearly cried...I don't recall it being that funny when it first aired.

I love how that lady thought George was having a nervous breakdown too.

"He didn't recognize me because he's wearing those glasses! And he was doing it to fool Lloyd Braun!"

Sigh, I wish Seinfeld had never gone off the air.
