Wait, are you talking about Swiffer or Febreeze?

Swiffer.

Okay. I actually haven't seen too many commercials for either franchise lately, so I wasn't sure.

I've always wondered if the people who are blindfolded in the Ferbreeze commercials were kidnapped, put in the nasty location, and asked to describe the area's scent against their will.

That's an interesting theory, MRM. Not too many people will be able to think of something like that. In fact, it kind of makes it sound like you might have something to do with it…

But I'm sure you would never be crazy enough to do something like that…

...Yeah........I've got nothing to do with it at all......

.........Hey, you should go down that dark alley near your house... I bet no one would kidnap you and force you to smell things if you did that....

.........especially not anyone who just so happens to be me....

Really though, who would be dumb enough to get in a car(or house) at random, blindfolded, when asked by people whom they have never seen in there life.

It's like telling a kid to get in someones car blindfolded and ask them to eat candy from some creep.

The thing is, though, that these people aren't just randomly being asked yo do that; Monster_Robot_Maniac Febreeze employees are abducting them and forcing them to do it at gunpoint.

.......I'm sure there's no Guns Involved...

..........I think they just kidnap their family members and threaten to kill them all unless they put on a blindfold and smell a specific area...

......Not that I'd know...

That's not what we they do.

I think they just abduct them and hit them in the head with hard objects until they pass out. Once they wake up, we they make sure all their memory is gone. Step three is where we they tell them that we're they're there real family and that they live their lives happily blindfolded sniffing random houses and giving their opinion.

*AHEM*

If we can get back on topic kids.

I generally hate all ads, but any Haribo ones rub me the wrong to a particularly high extent. All wrinkle cream ads can go fuck themselves, too.

There probably are, there's subliminal messages in everything now.

I really hate that tide pods commercial where everything is all white then suddenly people pop out of the laundry machine and everything gets all colorful.
Though I always catch myself laughing when I watch it.

Those ones from ALLY banks where it plays the cowboy music and people come in and see a blender.

And we have yet to endure the dreaded Christmas commercials such as that one about the M&Ms giving those red and green ones to Santa.  They show that one every freaking year!

I personally dont mind most M&M commercials but I really do hate that one, if they made a new, not insane Christmas M&Ms commercial it wouldn't be so bad.

Because the idea of a black man and a white woman having a child is apparently still a problem in 2013. Also the entire "controversy" was started because of YouTube comments. The reports on it were based solely on the YouTube comments because fuck journalism these days.

I hate that Publisher's Clearing House commercial where it plays the Rocky theme.

Also I hate that Rice Krispies one about the pregnant mother and her little son.  The voiceover says, "it's safe on tummies".  Then it shows the mother tickling her kid's stomach while he's eating?  What was she trying to do?  Make him throw up to see if he was smuggling drugs?

Other commercials I hate are those ones for USAA Auto Insurance especially the part where those girls say, "Fort Bennings Georgia in 1999".  Hate Kraft Cheese ones too.  With that jungle that sounds like, "i'm gonna use my two hands........."

Hate that one commercial for the new Mario game where it shows a bunch of scientists looking into Luigi's dreams.  (No offense to Mario fans here).  Now _that's_ a character who deserves to be tortured be a mad scientist.

Speaking of commercials, some school in Connecticut banned students from quoting Geico's "Hump Day" commercial.

I'm getting sick of hearing it at my school. It's not funny anymore, and now that the sixth graders are in my school, they're even more loud and moronic about it.

Are the kids in your school using the term inappropriately, or in an appropriate but annoying manner?

Those ones for Homegoods where it plays, "Forget your troubles, Come on Get Happy".  It was better when Dr. House sang that song.

And those ones for Hershey's Kisses that show the candies being made in a factory and it plays music that sounds like a soundtrack to a Disney movie.

I think I get what you're saying. Is it that some kids use the term sexually and others just use it obnoxiously? When I was a freshman in high school, people said in constantly, but only obnoxiously, not suggestively.
