Oh CBBC is a wicked sinful place. Blue Peter's ok, but the rest is migh'y wicked.

Why can't we have great shows like Danger Mouse back!?!

I don't think I ever watched Danger Mouse. I loved Thomas The Tank Engine though. I HATED "The Riddlers".

Those older, only-half-animated Marvel toons were pretty lame

Haha, I remember those. I had a big "comic book" phase back in fourth/fifth grade, and I rented a bunch of old marvel cartoons. Holy man, they were hilariously terrible. And back then I liked just about everything.

This is only vaguely connected to the subject, but it was so funny I couldn't resist passing it along. From a parody on the upcoming Scooby-Doo game, in PSM Magazine

Shaggy: "I'm tellin' ya, Scoob, you shoulda been there, man! The sandwiches were this big!!"
Scooby: "Really, Raggy?"
Fred: "That's it, Shaggy. Everyone else might be too afraid to say anything, but your dog "Scooby" died when you were a kid, man. I don't know what you're smoking back there, but stop it!!"
Velma: "...jeepers, Fred."
(long pause)
Scooby: "Burn rem, Raggy. Burn rem all."
Shaggy: "...but Scoob, I can't...I...okay."
