Anybody watch this show? Comedian Louis C.K.'s show about his own life, on FX.

I think it's pretty funny. It's not laugh-out-loud funny all the time but I enjoy it a lot.

Well I may be the only one here who watches this show, but I'll still post about it dammit!

Tonight's episode was awesome, Dane Cook guest-starred and the two had an argument about whether Dane stole Louie's jokes. Pretty damn funny.

I recently watched one of his stand up shows and he seemed ok, and he was on Conan too.
Maybe...

I don't even think his stand up is that amazing (it's definitely funny, but it's not like earth-shatteringly so) his stand-up is the tits and I love this show, it's great. You should give it a shot.

I'd start with the episode Heckler/Cop Movie.

HUUUGE bump.

Anybody else watching the new season? It's easily the darkest and most uncomfortable so far, and that's saying something. Louie's been slowly exorcising the comedy and turning the show completely into a surreal drama...and I still love it, even if some bits don't totally work.

The newest episode In The Woods (broken into two parts) was totally brilliant, and I recommend it even if you're not currently following the series as it works as a standalone. Great guest roles (Jeremy Renner is really good, plus F. Murray Abraham returns), intense direction, and a strong message.

This show is fucking amazing, and is the most innovative thing to happen to tv comedy since Arrested Development. Louis CK isn't just the best damn comedian around today, he's also becoming one of the best filmmakers.

2011-me underestimated Louis CKs comedy, he's great, looking forward to watching the woods episodes.
