I was just wondering, did anyone here watch Allaister McGowan last night? That was so funny, I especially liked it when he pretended to be David Beckham, and he said that he got a lot of stick, then showed everyone a bunch of sticks   :laff:

A shame Alister McGowan's series has ended - I just can't stop laughing at that Interviewer that seems to ask questions in riddles and all the footballers just have no idea what's he's doing. I'm not too familiar with the guy he's taking the piss of by doing that but it just sounds so silly.

It's Garth Crooks, ex-Tottenham and England, and he really does talk like that, but not to that degree, obviously.

Angus: "He was heard to say 'cheer up sausage, it's not as bad as all that.' Presumably because she's fat and German."
Paul:"She's not particularly fat"
Ian:"And not terribly German, to be honest"
Ross:"But it is good fun poking her with a fork."

Classic!!

Interesting thing today - I caught a CITV show based on the Horrible Historys books and I loved them but the animation here was a little weak BUT, but, but, but, Billy West is doing the voice of one of the main characters! And probably several others but the main character is a definite Philip J Fry in every sence - except apperance and history. But he acts like Fry and sounds almost exactly the same.  :D  :D  :D

I watched Horrible Histories in Welsh! The illustrations in the books (I have nearly all of them!) are much better - Martin Brown is brilliant!

I have only watched the programme a few times, I like it!

It's been suggested that Stephen Fry and Clive Anderson are being considered as hosts for HIGNFY if Angus is sacked or resigns. Nooooooooooo!!

Ah no, no one can really replace Angus. I like Fry and Anderson very much but while Stephen did the BAFTAs very well, I don't think he's much of a quiz presenter and while Clive did very well on Whose Line Is It Anyway? he just can't do the same things Angus can. Plus we've already had both of them as guests at least once each it would be quite wierd if they started making all the snide comments at the end of the news reports.

Basically it just wouldn't sound right.  :nono:

Angus, Ian and Paul OR Stephen, Ian and Paul OR Clive, Ian and Paul. They just don't really sound....good.

HIGNFY is a winning formula. I really hope they don't have to change it.

BTW, has anyone else noticed a startling resemblence between Ian Hislop and The Brain (of Pinky and The Brain)?

Actually, I have a computer hacker friend who got me some episodes (a lot) of Red Dwarf, Monty Python, the Young Ones, Black Adder, Faulty Towers, et cetera. By the way, I live in America.

Yeah I saw the babies at the end of ToTV, brilliant acting, fight scene with the rotveiler, classic.

George Micheal's uses 2DTV in his new video, hilarious, saw it last night on an MTV exclusive, forget what it's called, good song too, he completely takes the piss out of himself at the end dressing up as all the Village People!

Does anyone watch The Job, it's coming to BBC1 soon, Denis Leary is in it, it's frickin brilliant, it's about a NY cop, in one episode he goes to an anger management class, causes a riot and has to call for backup!! Legend.
It's on RTE1 on Sunday night for Holly and KENNEDY, I highly recommend it.
