Okay, Once Upon A Time In America is one of the greatest gangster films ever. It could be the best film of the 80's. Also every gangster movie with a plot of a gangster movie is going to be similar to The Godfather. Jesus.

I've got a really good one for you; one of my favorite films.  Go rent "It Came From Hollywood".  It's a silly, ridiculous & hilarious revisiting/sendup of 1950's & 1960's low budget/dumb concept films that REALLY SUCK.  There's about 15 or 16 exceptional candidates for "Worst Movie of All Time" shown in it...

I think one of my friends has a film by that title. Supposedly, it's quite artistic.

Since we're on the subject of terrible movies, on TCM Underground next Friday Night/Saturday Morning they're showing two flms tat could qualify for the worst "So Bad It's Good" genre. They are Billy The Kid Vs. Dracula and Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter. They're on the lines of flicks like Manos: The Hands Of Fate except without all the driving...

Yeah; those 2 definitely SUCK.  I'd forgotten about the "cross genre" films.  Ones like "Abbott & Costello vs. the Wolfman" & others of their ilk.  Although, there's definitely one good thing about them; they're great material for parody on "the Simpsons"...

The other night, some station was showing a Malcolm McDowell movie called, "Inhabited".  It's about a family who moves into a house that has troll-like creatures living in the house.  Hillariously bad!

The first Harry Potter. The others are great, but the acting was crap in this one.

Neville was terrible in OotP. Really terrible. So terible I wanted to throw a brick at him as he walked over that ramshackle-y looking bridge, and see him fall to his untimely death on what are hopefully sharp rocks at the bottom. Sharp rocks with nasty, pointy teeth.

Once upon , in a friendīs home we catched in TV that  Tim Burton movie: Adventures of Peewee or something like that, the begining..
we could not stop watching it because the bad it was.. we had to stay watching because we couldnt believe that they were airing something THAT bad..

you have had that sensation a lot of times with bad movies dont you?

You have to understand that Pee Wee's Big Movie was made for children that watched his show. I mean I can understand how you can hate Children's movies that are actually terrible, but Pee Wee is not one of them. I enjoyed it for what it is, an eccentric weird movie.

I love Pee Wee's Big Adventure. It's a great example of Tim Burton & Danny Elfman. Javier, were you watching a dubbing of it? Some of the jokes might've been lost in translation.

Actually I thought the first was very well done, I mean the second one was extremely crude which turned me off. But the first was actually sweet and funny. I don't even want to talk about Shrek 3.

Gotta agree with you, Mr. Blonde.  It's been my experience that, unless the 1st film is made as part of an already written out series or trilogy, the sequels rarely match up to the original in terms of quality.  High quality stand alone pictures, that hollywood makes money on then decides "we need elevendy-jillion sequels to this, to milk it for all it's worth", are almost always superior to those films that follow.

I thought dumb and dumberer was okay it didn't live up to the origional. The worst I can think of is Rocky 5. That was an awful one.

Aw, c'mon.  How can any movie with "YO, ADRIAN!" in it be bad?   :D

Back to a previous post by MrBlonde; I totally forgot about quite possibly the stupidest (and one of the most expensive) film ever made:  Battlefield Earth.  How bad is it?  I have some friends that are Scientologists, and THEY think it's absolute sh*t.  It's just as lame as film making gets, except it's not intentionally lame.  Which makes it even worse...    :puke:

Worst film of all time = 2001: A Space Odyssey. You could meet someone, get to know them, have a relationship, get married, have children, have grandchildren and die of old age before 2001 is even half way through.

YAWN!

There's actually a film called "Earth vs. The Spider"?  Let me guess; the earth is in a war against a spider, right?  If so, at least they get points for truth in advertising.  Unfortunately, I must have missed that one...

Also, 2010 isn't that bad. Sure it can't be compared to 2001, but it's still a decent film.

2001 is a cool movie... i watched it a few times actually without FFing it once

if you want a long ass movie try getting your hands on "The Cure for Insomnia" it lasts 87 hours... or if you go for an actually major release try "The Burning of the Red Lotus Temple", but that's "only" 27 hours

hmm, i wonder if you could get them anywhere?
