I'm trying to remember which episode of the Simpsons shows Homer on a atomic bomb, and then he imagines himself on it with a cowboy hat shouting "YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" ?

That sounds like a couch gag, and it's at the start of more than one episode. I'm not sure though

Yes, it's also a couch gag. But the scene you're refering to, Impossible, is shown in "Homer, The Vigilante"

...and it is based on the scene at the end of Dr Strangelove where Major Kong is sat astride a bomb as it drops.

Aaaah, this seems like the perfect thread to ask this in. There's a Simpsons ep where Homer says something like... "That's the suckiest bunch of suck that ever sucked!", or something similar to that. I think it's a Season 9 ep, but I'm really not sure. I was just wondering, does anyone know which ep he says that in?...

"Team Homer" the Pin Pals bowling ep I believe

It's from season 7, from the episode named "Team Homer".

Thanx guys  so that's the ep it's in, no wonder I couldn't find it, I was in the wrong season!...

Although it was written by Scully and it was produced by Mirkin so it has more of S9 esq feel.
