First of all, this is not a 'negative' thread or whatnot. This is just a curiosity thread. We all know that one day, every show will end. All good things will come to an end.

This thread concentrates on (what I consider to be) the most famous 'adult cartoons'. These are (in my opinion) The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, Family Guy, King Of The Hill, American Dad, and (unfortunately) The Cleveland Show.

As many people know, King Of The Hill came to an end last year. It is no more and has officially been 'cancelled'.

One day, all of these shows will be cancelled, but I'm just curious as to what order you think they will be cancelled in.

So, with King Of The Hill gone, which cartoon will be the next to be cancelled?

Will it be:
The Simpsons?
Futurama?
Family Guy?
South Park?
American Dad?
The Cleveland Show?

Out of those 6 choices, which show do you think will be cancelled next?

Also, which do you hope will be cancelled next?

I think it will be American Dad, but I hope it will be The Cleveland Show (Followed by The Simpsons due to decline in quality).

They all bring in a lot of cash but I'm sad to say it will probably be American Dad

But it's made by Seth McF.  You can't kill his shows...they keep coming back like zombies.  Unless you shoot them in the head.

Why would Futurama be cancelled again?  It had high ratings and it's coming back next year.  There's buzz going around on Damnyouall.net that American Dad might get cancelled.

If it does, I'll be pissed.  If any shows should be cancelled it should be The Simpsons and Cleveland.

American Dad has the worst timeslot and has been on hiatus before, so I'm guessing Fox sees it as somewhat expendable

We can lose American Dad and The Cleveland Show without me shedding tears.  The Simpsons will run it's course all by itself; I'm sure the actors will quit before the network dumps them.  Family Guy and South Park are still going strong, as is my favorite, Futurama.

Why would Comedy Central have any interest in canning South Park?  Along with the Daily Show and Colbert Report, it is basically what defines the channel.  You can argue it's the same reason The Simpsons has stayed with FOX for so long.

next season is the last on Matt and trey's contract, I'm sure if they wanted to keep on doing it CC would keep on extending their contract, I doubt it'll ever get officially cancelled

Then that is not an axing, but rather an ending.  Some shows manages to end, people.  Not all shows are cancelled.
