Wow, this movie was awesome, even better in the theater!

They're making an Incredible Hulk movie too, directed by Ang Lee (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon). They showed a teaser trailer for it before Spider-Man.

Thanks for the link to "The Hulk" trailer.  They didn't play it when I went to see it today.  Looks pretty good.

I've just seen the movie, well it only came out over here a week ago, and I thought it was great.
Of course they changed a few thing like introducing Mary Jane before Gwen Stacy, but that doesn't really matter. Ohh Ohh did anyone else spot the creator of spiderman , Stan "the man" Lee, in the movie, well I think it was him.
Just one questionwho do you think should be the next villian I'm hoping for Venom he's so cool.

Yeah, Stan was in the crowd during the Goblin's first (public) attack...

The leading villains for the first sequel seem to be The Lizard and Doctor Octopus. (There is rumor that both may appear, but it's just rumor.) The Lizard's alter ego is actually referred to in Spider-Man (Parker mentioned that he got fired by "Dr. Conners" ). Venom is a popular choice, but they don't seem to want to use him just yet...

Hmm Doctor Octopus, I know he appeared in Spiderman allot but wasn't he really a Fantastic Four villian. Anyway Venom's alter egoi was also mention by JJ Jameson (he is annoyed that Eddie could not get a photo of Spiderman, in other words Eddie Brock). I was actually thionking about this and they would really need two movies to have venom. The First would be were Parker aquires the symbiot and there for it gets his powers. When parker get's rid of it, it goes to Brock and becomes Venom. This would need two films or a 3 hour movie.

Wow, you found the thread.

I don't intend to go and watch it yet.  Maybe if I end up in a cinema somehow and all the other movies look like crap.

Our theatre never showed it!  It showed Star Wars Ep 2 for 3 weeks in May and never showed it afterwards.  I guess I'll have to wait until it comes out out on video/DVD

I am not sure the damn thing is written yet, all that is out are rumors. Also I sure god hope that they don't jump to a wedding by the second movie that would just suck.

I fail to see what's humorous about a man who is a physchotic schitzophrenic with super-villain tendancies

Well...not always. *cough*johnwaynegacy*cough*

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, he said hurriedly: new publicity stills from Daredevil are out: it looks like they're going to stick as close to the basic visual concepts as they can without going "spandex." Bullseye doesn't wear a costume with a target on the forehead     but instead has a similar scar/tattoo on his actual forehead; Electra is all about functional black leather and cleavage; Michael Clarke Duncan will inevitably take heat from idiots for being black AND a movie villain, but he fills out a suit better than anyone else could as Kingpin (remember John Ryhs-Davies?   :puke: ). The production stills and artwork suggest this is going to look beautiful: I hope they've put an equal amount of care into the script. (crosses fingers)

I think my friend is going off the original storyline which up till now has been followed in the film. But they could change it in the second film. I'm not sure though i could be wrong  :) Its an educated guess. What she has told me though sounds better than the first film  :D
