But how come the other Superman programme never mentioned that Superman and Lex Luthor knew each other? You'd think it would've come up at some point!

Well, different shows have different views on the story. They can't all coordinate, and agree on a single truth about the characters.

Dang physics degree messing with my mind again... I know this post is old, but why should the physics degree be the thing that allows you to "get it" like noone else has ever gotten anything before? I'm pretty sure most of us know just a little about momentum and such. And no, I don't watch the show... A quick recap of my first episode: A bunch of jocks can walk through walls and they form some brotherhood and Clark and LEx save the day in the end... Also, I think it's stupid to have Lex in the show in this way- he's not the kind of guy who'd grow up to be the Lex Luthor from the comics.

It's more entertaining than than actually watching the show on its own, which isn't a good sign. Anyhow, they have had some good stuff in the past, but this season so far has been pretty weak. Pete really carried the show. I couldn't disagree with you more, the last season he wasn't even used that much, sure he had an episode called "Velocity", but the rest of the time he was just used to get Kryptonite away from Clark, and to hate the Luthors. Or he was used as a filler while Clark was at school. Pete will probally make a cameo in the near future, like Whitney did earlier this year, in that flashback at the beginning of that plastic surgery episode. I do love watching the Lex/Clark relationship evolve into what it will one day become. But Clark needs to stop questioning Lex all the time, like this past episode, Clark- "Just tell me you didn't do it." (refering to a dead body found in Lex's bed) I do still love the show, and will continue to watch, but I wish they would stop these episodes where someone finds out Clark's secret, and then they get ammnesia. That can become very tiresome.

T'was a joke... I know that Pete was practically useless and was almost never used. For someone who was in the opening credits, it really didn't make much of a difference in the show when he left, which shows how unimportant he was. Tragic, really. I do love watching the Lex/Clark relationship evolve into what it will one day become. For some reason, Canadia is a week behind in showing the episodes, at least on the channel that I get it on. Thanks for spoiling it, jerk! I do still love the show, and will continue to watch, but I wish they would stop these episodes where someone finds out Clark's secret, and then they get ammnesia. That can become very tiresome. You mean like every second episode (or so it feels, anyhow)?

I've seen bits and pieces of some episodes, but the one episode i saw in it's entirety was the one with the woman killed and stored in some bin and he can see through the bin or something anyone kno what i'm talking about? anyways I couldn't sleep the other night and Smallville was on at 2am. I actually really liked the episode, I have no idea what season it is but I'm guessing it's one of the earlier ones. Lana's boyfriend Whitney had tied up Clark in the previous episode and in this episode some bug boy was after Lana. The ending made me so sad when Clark got rid of bug boy and then Whitney opens the cocoon and gets Lana and takes all the credit for saving Lana whereas Clark gets none when he's the one who really saved her...and then leaves that meteorite necklace thing on her door and she thinks Whitney put it there... It's weird saying "awwww" and nearly crying at 3 am in you darkened bedroom Originally posted by Roy Bluth: P.S. Did anyone else hear anything about Dean Cain being on Smallville this season? I thought I read it in an article, but then couldn't find it anywhere. Dean Cain? 0mg I love that lil big dork

I found the article on it, the weird thing is, it was after I posted that message. Here's the article from TV Guide: October 2-8, 2005 The Ausiello Report By Michael AusielloLois and Clark Runited (Sort Of)Smallville, which usually leaps tall buildings for it's casting stunts, is wooing erstwhile Superman Dean Cain for an upcoming arc. "We have been talking," confirms exec producer Al Gough, who adds that Cain would play-what else?-A love interest for Lois Lane ( Erica Durance). So, what's the holdup? "We want to figure out the right story," Gough says. "For these guest stars, you have to entice them with something good. You can't just say, 'Do you want to be on the show? We'll write it for you later.' We're not Desperate Housewives." He said it, not me. -Additional Reporting by Matt Webb Mitovich
