For me that was the best part of the episode.   The episode was mediocre all around (hitting the fast forward on all the interesting things they could have done, like you said, which could have been made more interesting because of Rainicorn biology), but the strong vocal performances from everyone involved made it enjoyable.  After Kristen Schaal, the best part of the episode was Jake's Mom as a computerised memory manual.   I love the way she switches from the dreamy, mumsy french-toast-recipe voice, to "PERFORM CPR THEY MIGHT BE DEAD!!!!!!"

Can't wait for Bad Little Boy.

Saw the leaked Bad Little Boy.

Let's just say Ice King's fanfiction is a lot better then Marceline's.

Nice to see Adventure Time get a reference in the latest Futurama ep. (Leela and the Genestalk)  Amusing to hear John Dimaggio telling himself to shut up.

I never watched this show, although about a year ago when I was at my friend's house, he had it on. I imagine it's funny, since John DiMaggio is in it.

Have you heard his voice in Pound Puppies? My sister was watching it, and his voice is hysterical. It sounds like he has a sinus infection. :)
But of course I still love him and his voice :)

Hmm. I don't think I've heard of that show, but I'm sure he does well in it.

I've never heard of that show, but I'm sure he does well. He's a very talented voice actor. The producers had no idea what a robot was supposed to sound like, but John nailed it. Well, he was actually auditioning for the Professor, but the producers had him audition for Bender using that same voice.

It looks good. But, by the looks of it, that was a quick break-up.

I was a little disappointed. They could've done more with the plot, especially Cinammon Bun.

Never seen it but just find out that John Dimaggio is in it so I may watch it now that Futurama is going to be over.

I'm with Juliet. John Dimaggio voices it, and the show doesn't look half-bad from some of the episodes I saw on TV while waking up.

I had never seen much of this series before, so I watched the Fionna and Cake episodes today, and I thought they were awesome! I loved the "Good Little Girl" song.  :D

Cats in cardboard boxes... what's not to love?

Seriously tough, I think this episode was nice. Not really great just cute. Finn was being finn and jake was being a lazy jerk.

Oh, man, I need to put a notification on this thread. I LOVED the cat in box episode. Yes, not great, but CATS IN BOXES. What's not to love? The ending wasn't as clever or tidy as almost all Adventure Time endings are, but oh well. Cats in boxes.

I loved the Finn and Jake cameo on the Futurama episode Leela and the Genestalk!

Jake: What time is it?
Bender: Time for you to shut up!

What's funnier is both are voiced by John DiMaggio.

Hmm, I've been looking for other shows to start watching.

Is this show worth the watch...? I currently watch The Simpsons, Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, and American Dad (sometimes). Anybody think that this show would compare to any of these, and is worth a shot?

I wouldn't say it was similar to any of those, although I do watch three of them and enjoy Adventure Time. It's a pretty great show that I'd recommend giving a watch (do give it a chance, it gets less "random" as the show progresses).

Also, I use this to recommend just about anything - it's a handy tool.

The show isn't quite as frequently laugh out loud funny as Gravity Falls or Rick and Morty are, but it's still a great show to give a chance. It might be a bit hard to get into the randomeness of the first 2 Seasons, but afterwards, it becomes really good, with some really interesting stories and background, along with some really funny jokes and characters.

Yeah, I remember watching a Season 1-2 episode once and it blew chunks. Really hated it. But I keep on hearing good things about the newer eps.

Yeah, when I first watched the show when it first came on, I absolutely hated it. It just felt like a bunch of random stuff clumped together. Trust me though, the show is alot less random from the last few episodes of Season 2 and on. If you still can't stand the early episodes, then just skip them (though there are alot of little things in them that relate to future episodes and can be funny occasionally).

Nice! I'm personally more of a Fubblegum shipper, but it seems Bubbleline is huge in the AT fandom. I think Ward confirmed it after " What Was Missing" aired in a behind the scenes youtube video, but it got pulled down because people were complaining about the idea of a lesbian couple.

Ba-bump.

Futurama fans: Billy West guest-starred on tonights episode, and he did some really familiar-sounding voices. It was almost like a mini-Futurama reunion.

I've been slowly coming to enjoy this show. I'm binge-watching it on Netflix whilst the Sparklee is at work and I have nothing else to do. If anybody else ever takes a couple of months off in a foreign country and has nothing else to do, I recommend that they watch Adventure Time to fill in the gaps between goofing around and feeding their animals. It helps to break up the periods of wishing you'd brought a laptop with you.

I feel that the episode "Everything's Jake" was a better farewell to Futurama than "Simpsorama", or, dare I say it, "Meanwhile".

I feel like Futurama and Adventure Time are both on a similar sort of level - adult entertainment thinly disguised as a cartoon for kids.

I am thoroughly converted to a fan of AT now.

*Bump!*

I've been rewatching tons of adventure time and I've been super into it again, and I'm still stuck.

A part of me ships Finn and Bubblegum because they've been the main ship from the start, and I adore his loyalty and devotion to her. But then I think about the gap in age and maturity.

Another part of me ships Finn and Flame Princess, but she seems too unemotionally stable to be in any real romantic relationships.

Ah man I'm totally stuck with these ships.
