Okay, so I was kinda pressured into watching it. And, after watching the first episode, went on a complete binge and watched the rest of the series in a matter of days . This series is excellent (it reminds me of Being Human on BBC).

Basically, we are introduced to 6 teenage 'misfits' all doing their community service. There is cocky Nathan, ex-runner Curtis, chavvy Kelly, promiscuous Alisha, and shy socially awkward Simon (excellently played by Iwan Rheon-the best acting I've seen in a long time). They get caught out in a hailstorm and are struck by lightning along with their probation officer. As the misfits begin to find they have developed a unique strange power and how to cope, they find that the 6th misfit, irrationally aggressive Gary, has been hacked to death by probation officer Tony-who now, incidentally goes into fits of zombie-like rage. Will the Misfits survive?

The answer is, of course they will (well...)-but that's just the first episode. Okay, it does sound a little far fetched, but it's extremely funny and horrifying at the same time. If I haven't persuaded you enough, has anyone watched it?

I have also never written as much as this, plugging for a tv program. Wow.

Wow, this never got a post in it? I love Misfits! Series 3 starts soon, I loved the online webisode explaining how Nathan will go out of it, and OH MY GOD YES MORE SUPERHOODIE!

The online mini-ep "Vegas Baby!" was alright, at least it means there's a chance Nathan can come back. Not that I'm SUPER upset he's gone.

Also, someone noticed in the Series 3 trailer that the blonde girl can stop time. She smashes the bottle over Rudy's head and then puts it in Curtis' hand making it look like he did it, and Rudy's just frozen when she pushes him off of the building.

Yeah, I'm a Simon fan so I wasn't too bothered with Nathan's departure. Not sure of Rudy either, though...we shall see!

Forgot to mention, the guy who played Gary in the first episode (the guy who gets murdered by the first probation worker, Tony) tweeted he was filming Misfits back on the 21st June. Apparently it's a cameo (dunno how big) in episode 3 of Series 3. Time travel to the first or possibly before the first episode?

Just watched the first 2 episodes. Loved the sex scene in episode 2 (boobies  ) , until she turned into an 83 year old woman  .
Btw when does Nathan get his powers?

New Series 3 trailer! LOOKS SO FUCKING GOOD.

Also, I was chatting to a girl from London, she claimed to have been to the private screening of Series 3 Episode 1, so I asked her what are Simon and Curtis' new powers. One of them sounds realistic, the other seems a little "hmpf". I won't say incase she was telling the truth anyway.

Of Series 1? Or 2? The second last episode of Series 1 is nothing compared to Episode 6, and if you mean Series 2, then yes, it is an amazing episode.

WOOOO THAT WAS EPIC!

So that girl who told me about Simon and Curtis' powers wasn't lying. Super awesome, just can't describe, RUDY IS AMAZING, BLARGGH!

So it appears in next week's episode Curtis is gonna use his girl side to get back into athletics and stuff, and Lauren Socha revealed on the radio that Seth becomes her boyfriend. I'm guessing Rudy's light side stayed with the normal Rudy. And I wish the time stopping girl stayed alive. Well, she was a prick herself, but I wish her power stayed alive and got passed on or something.
