Ha! I bet I saw the Spiderman III trailer before you, Nasty.

And I didn't have to go to a movie theater to do so. Yarrr!   :p

I just hope that Spiderman III won't be as cheesy as Part II.

Hmm...so they really are doing three villains.  I figured at least one of them would turn out to be a rumor.

Also, Venom = best plots in Spider-man, so it looks like I'll be seeing this one in theaters.

Gocad: as long as they avoid another "drown it" line, I'm good.  I'll take a really nerdy date in case there's too much Peter/MJ angst again.

lol, I was thinking the same thing. Possible mix-up maybe?

"...Spider-Man surrenders to Doc Ock to protect the civilians ..."
-Does he really surrender? I thought he was so weak from stopping the train, he couldn't stop Dr. Octopus from knocking him unconscious and taking him to Harry. All against his (Peter's/Spiderman's) will.

I have one question:

How's Harry Green Goblin 2 when one of the pumpkin bomb things is thrown right next to his head? If he's Green Goblin 2, and he's being attacked by the pumpkin bomb thing, then who threw it?

Also, the Venom/Carnage/symbiote plot is the greatest in Spider-Man. But, who knows if we'll actually see Venom in this film? Maybe they'll hold on to Venom actually fighting until 4.

That doesn't mean that Harry has gone to the villian side. Maybe someone else found his father's GG stuff and took it and used it against him. And that Wikipedia stuff that has the picture of him at the bottom still doesn't prove that he is the new Green Goblin.

Also I agree, I love Venom and the alien symbiote. I think this movie will indeed kick someone's ass.

Sam Raimi so far has a history of not deviating wildly from the comic mythos, as far as I know, as opposed to a certain other Marvel superhero franchise.  I would be rather, rather surprised if he went the route you're suggesting, dal.

Well, I bring about part two of this. See the second image. Morphing in the face and ears are seen from this blast. If he's that morphed and all, couldn't he have died? We have no proof that Harry is the new Green Goblin, or even now that this is brought up, Hob Goblin. It's already said that this is Harry's last film.

Well I know you're right. And I know that Harry did turn evil in the comics. But who knows I guess I'll have to watch the movie. Oh darn.

As for my pick of villians, Carnage and Venom. Also I've read that they've tried to get the Black Cat in the movies but that hasn't worked. Also I really really want Willem Dafoe in this movie. Even if it's just a cameo like in the 2nd one. I loved him sooooo much!

Venom is one of my favourite Spider-Man foes, along with Carnage, Mysterio, Lizard, and the Green Goblin, especially Willem Dafoe's take on him in the first movie. If hey had Mysterio, Lizard, and Venom/Carnage in 4, that'd be awesome. Perhaps even throw in Tombstone and Man-Wolf. Or even have the Secret Wars plot.

The Decapodian: Remember not to use chat speak on PEEL. We have people who don't speak English as a first language (Germans, Dutch, Belgian, French) so it's hard for them to understand "c ya" "lol" "cant" and other things of that nature. Please use correct English when talking on PEEL. Thanks.

But hey what do you expect.

No, not that Sandman.  This is actually a guy made of sand.

Now that I've thought about that idea, I'm going to stop being a Marvel fanboy and admit that all comics are retarded in some way or another.

Pfft. Lame. I reckon Spiderman vs Vertigo Sandman would be a much more interesting match up.

Wait, no it wouldn't.

Spidey - "I'll get you, Morpheus! No one sends me dreams where where I shout at Aunt May and call her shrivelled up old hussy, before she turns into Mary-Jane and explodes into a flock of ducks! NO ONE!"

Murphy - "... Do not triffle with me, little mortal. My patience is not infinite."

Spidey - *Fshuuuuu, THWACK!"

Murhpy - "..." *Waves hand, gives Spidey horrendous mental issues for the rest of his life and then damns him to hell for good measure. May or may not angst about it for a while. Also, there are some lesbians for some reason.*

See? WHERE'S THE DRAMA?!?!?!

Transformers...that brings back memories.

But a movie with real-life characters, being serious and above all directed by Michael Bay?

That sounds sooo wrong...

If this new Transformers movie does not have a cheese metal sound track I will be most disappointed (you've got the touch duh duh da da you got the powaaaaaaaaaaar yeah)

On Spiderman, if there is a fourth villian then ManWolf would makes sense, that astronaught was probably pissed off that Mary-Jane ran away from their wedding. Now I am not sure about the comics but I am sure it was also his fault in the cartoon for bringing the Venom symbyote to Earth in the first place.

I remember the cartoon! Oh, that brings back memories. I liked the cartoon's plot lines.

There already was a Transformers movie! With Orson Welles as Omicron. And Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron. Oh, how that brings back memories too...but life action Transformers? In CGI by ILM? I hope it isn't as cheesy as General Grevious, the battle droids, Jar Jar Binks, and Yoda...

Jar Jar Binks cheesy? Perhaps.
Yoda cheesy? Perhaps not.

@Wu: Yeah it was Spidey's fault for bringing the Symbyote to Venom. No what happened was like Spidey got some kind of antidote or something that got rid of the alien symbyote and it went around NY looking for a new victim and it found Eddie Brock. Later when Eddie is in jail with this crazy guy the symbyote leaves him and goes into the other guy who becomes Carnage. And then I think Venom and Spider Man join forces to stop Carnage. It's something along those lines my memory is shaky.

I'm wondering something, if Harry does turn evil, will he tell one of the other villians who Spider-Man really is?

I liked Spider-Man 2, although I thought Spidey took his mask off way too many time. Every 5 minutes, who doesn't know his secret?

Yeah, I remember I went into this store, and by the door there was a box of Transformers, $1 each. I bought one. I also lost it.

I also had a magnet man. He was a little person type thing with magnets on the bottom of his feet. He could walk up the fridge (not completely by himself of course.)

I"m glad to know I wasn't alone on that. I loved Spider Man 2 too but yeah why did he keep taking his mask off. I mean it's not like he couldn't see what he was doing with it on. And not one person on that train didn't say anything to someone about how they saw Spider Man's true idenity? Really stupid.

I saw a bit of a teaser for Superman Returns last night: Some guy has a gun at Superman's head, he pulls the trigger, and THE BULLET BOUNCES OFF HIS BLOODY EYE:eek:

IN SLOW MOTION.

I jumped off the couch and yelled "HOLY SHIT!" at the top of my lungs.
