Wait, so FishyJoe is wrong because you think otherwise? Boy, that's not arrogant or anything.

I just saw a trailer of Star Trek Nemesis. The Special effects look good.

Who's directing this time? Frakes again?
New Vin Diesel flick, XXX looks pretty cool, trailer features my fave band of the moment, Rammstein.

Um, the producers do. Ka-ching, ka-ching. It's directed by the guy who turned the first sequel into an idiotic splatterathon, so you know it is, as Pearl Forrester would say, quality. (Director Rick Rosenthal also gave us The Birds II: Land's End under the pseudonym "Alan Smithee." There oughta be a rule: anyone who does the "Smithee" bit shouldn't be allowed behind the camera again.) Rumor has it Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) doesn't last very long in this one. Thus does the last tattered shred of interest or dignity leave the series. I suppose next time, he'll appear in outer space, fighting Jason and Dollman.

I don't think it totally sucked, it just didn't blow you away. It had all the elements for entertainment, but they were held together by a forgetable plot. There were also a few too many cringe moments that felt out of place and OTT, like Z doing those flips and kicks in the air.
MIB II is fun but forgetable and lacks originality. I don't hate it though.
Both Troy and HP3 look very promising. But I guess they always do in trailers.

At least they look visually impressive. We'll have to wait to see if they're more substance than style.

All I know is that Sean Bean plays Oddysseus in Troy, and that's ok in my book.

Shrek 2, The Incredibles, Troy, HP3, and Return of the King all look excellent.
The Cat in the Hat on the other hand looks pretty poor. What a waste of Mike Myers. I guesss I should't judge it just yet though.
I'm also going to agree with FishyJoe agreeing with Pit Clemens, Duel is brilliant.

Go see Matrix Revolutions in a theater where it's being shown on a giant screen (IMAX included). The troy trailer comes on before that. I'll admit it does need a tad bit of touch-up, but in the theater it's still one of those shots that just makes you go "whoah." *pun not intended* The movie isn't until next May, anyway. But if that's shot's any indication-DAMN. Besides, women will go see it anyway, due these stars being in it: -Bradd Pitt -Eric Bana -Orlando Bloom -Sean Bean *prepares escape route for the upcoming cries of "sexist pig!" from the feminists on the board*
