The only thing that looks worse than Austin Powers 3 is that lame-ass Austin Powers/Britney Spears Pepsi commercial.

I expect Goldmember to make exactly 2 million dollars at the box office.

You wish because I think it will make at least 100 million dollars. In other things, anyone have seen the Beyonce Knowles music video for the soundtrack? That video  sucks so much that even makes Scooby Doo look like a good movie.

True. But I'd say it would top off at around 100 million. I think audiences are tiring of the Austin Powers schtick, plus this new movie looks suckier than anything that's sucked before.

But keep in mind that I predicted Spider-man to be the lowest grossing nerd movie of the year. What's it at now, like 9 billion dollars?

Yeah people are stupid, but they also get bored with stuff really easily. Scooby Doo might be raking in money, but how much will Scooby Doo 3 make? My guess--exactly 2 million dollars at the box office.

Who's directing this time?  Frakes again?

New Vin Diesel flick, XXX looks pretty cool, trailer features my fave band of the moment, Rammstein.

Um, the producers do. Ka-ching, ka-ching. It's directed by the guy who turned the first sequel into an idiotic splatterathon, so you know it is, as Pearl Forrester would say, quality. (Director Rick Rosenthal also gave us The Birds II: Land's End under the pseudonym "Alan Smithee." There oughta be a rule: anyone who does the "Smithee" bit shouldn't be allowed behind the camera again.)

I don't think it totally sucked, it just didn't blow you away. It had all the elements for entertainment, but they were held together by a forgetable plot. There were also a few too many cringe moments that felt out of place and OTT, like Z doing those flips and kicks in the air.

MIB II is fun but forgetable and lacks originality. I don't hate it though.

Both Troy and HP3 look very promising. But I guess they always do in trailers.

At least they look visually impressive. We'll have to wait to see if they're more substance than style.

Good trailers I have seen recently.
Troy. I loved the Iliad adn I pray that this film will be a good telling of the battle of Troy. I must admit it did look good in the trailer.

ROTK- OMFG wow is all I can say. If I didn't already want to see this film then this trailer would of turned me around. It looks stunning and I can't wait.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: Well it looks alot darker than the last two (which has to be a good thing) I wasn't sure about the singing in the trailer. It looks like it might be good.

All I know is that Sean Bean plays Oddysseus in Troy, and that's ok in my book.

I'm not massivly stoked about the movie, because the Troy miniseries was the bomb.  Great special effects, great acting, great filming, and a fully exposed @$$ that launched a thousand ships.  I was like WOAH!

Some TV movies are worth a look.  I reccomend "Purgatory" (Just try to block out Eric Roberts, and you'll be fine). "Duel" by Steven Speilberg, and...nuts I forgot the name of it.  It's a TV movie about Vlad Tepes.  hard up as I am to admit it, I have to confess that TV has made some pretty decent movies.

....also, that whole pull-back shot in Troy. Is it just me, or does it look fake?

I was wondering if hte film will feature the gods since they feature so heavily in The Iliad and also played an important part in the turning point of the story.

Shrek 2, The Incredibles, Troy, HP3, and Return of the King all look excellent.

The Cat in the Hat on the other hand looks pretty poor. What a waste of Mike Myers. I guesss I should't judge it just yet though.

I'm also going to agree with FishyJoe agreeing with Pit Clemens, Duel is brilliant.

Go see Matrix Revolutions in a theater where it's being shown on a giant screen (IMAX included). The troy trailer comes on before that. I'll admit it does need a tad bit of touch-up, but in the theater it's still one of those shots that just makes you go "whoah." *pun not intended* The movie isn't until next May, anyway. But if that's shot's any indication-DAMN. Besides, women will go see it anyway, due these stars being in it:
-Bradd Pitt
-Eric Bana
-Orlando Bloom
-Sean Bean
