Shrek... 2!

*falls to his knees in glory*

And yeah, Big Fish does look pretty good. It's definitely for all the suckers who still believe in love. Yes, I know it's not about Reel Big Fish, but I couldn't help myself.  :D

Hellboy does look like a mighty good movie. However trailers can be decieving from time to time.

It doesn't seem to be working on my browser, and I don't have time to mess around with the plugins, sooo... is it the same as the trailer on the Finding Nemo DVD, what with the guy trying to put his belt on and all that stuff?  Either way, it looks pretty good (also... I really like the logo  :D).

You're a bitch. I don't mean to get in conversations with the Don. It just happens because we have similar tastes. And as you can see, this was not a conversation.

And here you are, doing it again. Are you sure you two aren't the same person?

Mr. Potter isn't being unreasonably bitchy. I don't think I've seen a single post from one of you, without the other saying something five minutes later. Isn't there anything better to do in Marengo than spam up a friendly internet message board?

one movie you people should be looking out for is "Thumbsucker." It stars Keanu Reeves (in a minor role), but they filmed it in Oregon. I will say I do have a bias for it, I almost was an extra in it-I did end up talking to the lead actor about how how someone with ADHD acts like....but still, look out for it!

By the way, it's directed by the dude who directed the video for Moby's "Run On."

EDIT: Due out 2004.

That reminds me, at the Leeds Festival they were showing a trailer for a movie with Macauley Culkin, Seth Green and Marilyn Manson, about a bunch of party animals.

Did that ever come out?

Yeah, I think it was called Party Monster or something like that. It came out some months ago like in 3 theatres.

It could have been sweet drunk talk, but a friend told me.
At least he can do the eyebrow and has the body for it.

I couldn't find anything on it on upcomingmovies.com, though.

That would have been funnier had it not been done better on SNL over a month ago.

I'm trying to think of trailers I've seen that look semi-interesting, and all I'm coming up with is Return of the King.  I think I'd be more intrigued by Paycheck if it didn't have Ben Affleck in it.

Oh c'mon. The rock has the ego to match Johnny Bravo's, easily. he's a perfect fit.

But.... The Rock is light-black... where as Jhonny Bravo is chalk white..... it wouldn't make sense and I can see a fit though... that whole eyebrow thing..... I can feel it.... coming... and sucking.... so .... worse... than the..... cat in the hat.

Hellboy: The Movie!
Also, I heard they're making The Punisher a movie, too. But then again, it'll probably be as shitty as all the other superhero movies, increasing my hatred for hollywood and for all the aberzombies that think they know everything about superheros.

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is going to be the single most campy film to ever exist, even topping Mars Attacks or Lawerence Of Arabia...... God have mercy on that soon to be non-stop cheese fest.

since when was "Lawrence Of Arabia" campy? That movie is a classic example of a GREAT MOVIE. I'll assume you saw another, really bad, movie.

I saw the trailer for the Punisher movie. It looks horrible...like rejects from "Vice City." Probably because it takes place in Miami (why?) And I hate to break it to you, Speli, but Hellboy looks like crap. I'm not a big fan of the comics, but everything in that trailer screams "crap."

That Lost Skeleton movie is either going to be a work of genius or the biggest turkey of all time!

Either way I love the retro sci fi poster. Just like my Futurama Space Pilot 3000 poster "filmed in tele-vision!"

I have zero idea what this is actually about, but I'll be damned if it's not beautiful-looking:

Wonderful Days Trailer (high)
Wonderful Days Trailer (low)

Both of those trailers are Windows Media files, so if you can't support those, try the movie site itself.

I haven't found a lot of promising trailers, but I'm looking forward to seeing:
Big Fish
Return of the King
Lost Skeleton of Cadavra
In America

Three of them (guess which ones) have received lots of Oscar buzz.  Hopefully they won't dissolve into the depths of crappy writing like Cold Mountain.  I swear, Jude Law's line is one of the cheesiest things I've ever heard...

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is gonna be breathtaking. Lots of action and a decent story. What more could you ask for? Could possibly be the highest grossing movie ever. Beating out Titanic which was just the same 50 girls going to see it over and over.Terrible.
