Anyone else been watching it?

Its on Fox, there has only been two episodes.

There's a few recognizable people.  Maybe more but I just don't know who they are.  That chick from Role Models and the Christopher Guest movies, and the one dude from Kyle XY.  Oh, and the red head teacher... I know her from somewhere...OH CHARLIE FROM HEROES.  Oh, and Claires real mom from heroes is on it too

Anyways - loving the show.  So much Journey can't be wrong!  Honestly when they sing I just want to join right in.

Yeah, its about glee club, and being the losers in it.  Yes typical "jock joins glee club and etc..."  but its a bit of a spin because instead of turning Glee club into the cool thing, people just think hes gay.

Its funny and entertaining.

Didn't West Wide Story already do that, with gangs, and knives, and it still wasn't interesting.

That could probably be arranged. We have PEELers in Oz after all. st letus know if you're ever in danger of having to watch it, and we'll arrange for Chay or Ben to mow you down like a stray wallaby.

Poor wallabies :(

It's a pretty good show, Bianca. At least watch the first episode on Thursday night and see what you think.

Saw the second episode of Glee last night. They have some good one-liners. I only just found out that the last song in the episode was a Rihanna song. That girl made it seem good. I'm not much of a Rihanna fan.

I watched the second episode like I watched the first: on Hulu. I was very pleased with it, although I'm starting to really get annoyed by Rachel. I closed the tab I was watching the episode on in when the final song came on, it had nothing to do with anything! Urgh.

Same here.

I think one of the reasons I like this show is I enjoy situations where life becomes a musical. Even though they use existing songs. Usually when stuff happens to me I make up the lyrics as I go along, like in a Disney movie >_>
But it is easier to sing along to songs you know.

it had nothing to do with anything! Urgh.
The guy was just about to dry hump Rachel and now he's back to kissing his girlfriend, Quinn the stuck-up bitchface...so..Rach is upset and feels like he was just pretending to like her to see if he'd be able to get in her pants if he wanted. "Take a bow, very entertaining.." Because that's how women's brains work. Get with the program. :p
It also kind of ties in with Will's wife deceiving him..'cause I don't think he'll be very happy when he finds out the truth.

I had a strange arguement with a stand-up comedian about this show. While he was on stage.
Anyway, I frigging love musicals, but Glee makes me want to tear my eyes out and fill my ears with molten lead. Aside from the fact they murdered Don't Stop Believin' - which should be reason enough, if I wanted to hear robots sing, I'd just start a robot choir- the characters seem insufferable. If wanna-be performers out acting each other and demanding attention was so engaging, I'd just spend more time with friends of friends.

But it does have that hilarious blonde lady from Best In Show and whatnot. Hm.

Glee is alright. I'm starting to like musicals now. Gotta get the gay out of me one way or another.

Um, am I the only one that thinks the reason he stopped kissing Rachel was because he got a boner and was nervous about it? They did the little car crash thing that makes him forget about sex, I took that as a sign of him getting one. The end song thing just seems so out of character when considering this. In my opinion, it's either that the song is out of canon or uses clips at a point prior to their kiss. Otherwise, as I said, the whole last part of the episode contradicts itself.

Then the song's sequence is in her head and thus non-canon, so we don't actually know whether he went back to his girl yet or not.

I don't know that I've loved a show before like I love this show.  Every week, omg.  K, the story lines are goofy, and I don't like it when they sing and it doesn't make TOO much sense to whats going on.  But Holy Crap.  I love choir group singing.

I just listened to them sing "Somebody to Love" like 80 times.  Its still amazing.

*checks intenret* Okay so we're 2 weeks behind. That episode was the last one I saw on the same week it aired in America, so next week I finally get to see a new episode. At least it's not as bad as the old days when we were 6 months or so behind the American airing schedule.
I just listened to them sing "Somebody to Love" like 80 times.  Its still amazing.
I still like Don't Stop Believing better.

Totally agree chay!  I cant wait for him to find out the truth!

I will say though, what she did wasn't too far fetched.  A friend of mine is set to give birth tomorrow, and found out at her ultra sound today that her little girl is actually a boy.

Do you guys follow them on facebook at all?  The status messages crack me up!

Sue Sylvester (GLEE)  Does anyone know if Glenn Beck is single?
Quinn Fabray  Those Jonas Brothers almost make me want to make the switch over to girls.

Oh, another edit: the best line ever came from last weeks episode: SUE: Santana, wheels, gay kid...come on move it...Asian, other Asian, Aretha, Shaft.

Heh, facebook.
A friend of mine is set to give birth tomorrow, and found out at her ultra sound today that her little girl is actually a boy.
That happened to a girl I used to work with - she wanted a boy, but the original ultrasounds told them it was a girl, so she got used to the idea of having a girl, then the next ultrasound showed it really was a boy. So she got what she wanted in the end...but how annoying if you've already prepared for one. Not like the baby cares what colour its room is and all that..

Also, boo on you people being up to date on episodes. :(

Don't care to see it.  Too overhyped.  So sick of seeing commercials for Glee after American Dad.  It's from the makers of Nip/Tuck (a show I truly hate), need I say more?

any1else: You'll be happy to hear that Charlie's returning in Heroes either this and/or next week. I'm looking forward to it.

And Shoe and Sue's dance was funny. But the overall best part of the episode was when Puck talks about Jewish girls.

You have to see it from the first episode, Rach.
And be able to ignore crazy American stereotypes and dramatica.
