This is Alf.

He's the star of an old late-80's sitcom in which a wisecracking alien crash lands in the garage of the typical American suburban family.

Reruns can still be seen on TV Land.

ALF's on TVLand?  What is the world coming to?  TVLand's for bland, inoffensive shows like "Leave it to Beaver" and "Charlie's Angels".  :p

Please not ALF.  What 's next? The A-Team?  The Cosby Show?  CHiPs? Magnum P.I., Knight Rider?  Webster?    :puke:
God, make it stop! Idea for a new thread: The why of reruns of 80's tv-shows.

Scenario for EVERY a-team ep:

They go somewhere, some evil guy threatens the locals, the a-team decide to help.  Then, they prepare by making some tank/weapons out of a pick-up truck/kitchen utensils/snow plough/...
Then, they (almost) get caught/surrounded/locked in.  ( occasionally the crazy guy escapes from a mental institution to help) Then they break out,  shoot some people who always remain alive after they have been shot.  Then they beat the evil guy.  Then they have to run (chickens) for
the MP's.

*two year bump*

I bought the first season of ALF on DVD today. Sadly they are cut up and some songs are gone. So don't buy it.

I don't really know if a talk show can work ... after all it was a scripted show and i doubt the poor small guy in the costume could match up the facial movements alongsides spontanious jokes ...
