Well I brought this up in a thread earlier and was told that Carlin was far better than "tom green" But im still curious as to what people think of him.  I think that he is incredibly funny, and his style of stand up is unequaled.  Also, however I think that he is kind of strange and some of his comedy, although hillarious, is quite disturbing, like his constant disire for death and distruction.  Just post your thoughts about this great comedian!

You Should Aquire some of his comedy! It is very funny, if you are younger dont listen to it with your parents, for it is higly inappropriate

Then maybe you should wait a bit. Carlin's stuff is...a little blue. He's a stage comedian for the most part, and is famous for his "Seven Words You Can Never Say On TV" bit. However, he has appeared in movies; he was Rufus in the two Bill & Ted movies, and had a role in Outrageous Fortune.

I like him. I especially like those jokes where he says we've toned everything down so it doesn't sound as bad. For example, we don't die anymore, we pass away :)

"At birth, you had a cunt stretched across your head. Just like a little hat."

Ahaha. Yeah that's good. I haven't listened to too much of his stand-up, but I think Carlin is cool.

Yeah, he took over for the guy who took over for Ringo Starr. (I'll bet that looks good on a resumé.) He was replaced in turn by Alec Baldwin.

He was also one of the hippies whose lives "Homer Jay" helped destroy on The Simpsons.

   Update: He died.

Why resurrect a thread that's been dead for nearly seven years just to announce an event that occured over seven months ago?
