Doncha just hate it when there are those two people in a TV show/movie/online series that you know "belong together" and yet they aren't?  Here's a thread devoted just to them.

At the moment, mine would have to be Clark and Lana from Smallville.  I mean, yeah, he'll eventually be with Lois, but who cares?  He's totally in love with Lana and yet she's going out with that jerk Whitney.  At least Clark respects both of them.  I mean, he's always nice to Whitney and in last week's when Lana stripped down in front of him, he didn't "dig in" like any other guy would have.  They should definitely be an item, even if it's just for this series.

Well, that's mine.  Now get going on Buffy and Spike, Crichton and Aeryn, X and Chi-Chian(Are they?  I'm only up to Ep 9.), Lily and Brad or whoever.  And just remember, I'm the only one romance-obsessed enough to start this thread.  :D

Milhouse has been diagnosed with "homosexual tendencies," and may or may not have a cross-dressing fetish (which is in no way related to homosexuality, just ask Homer), but if everyone thinks he's gay, no one's told him; he's always after Lisa, even in Simpsons "futurama" episodes.

Lisa: "I like you, Milhouse, but not in that way. You're more of a big sister to me."
Milhouse: "No I'm not! Why does everyone keep saying that?!"

Jerry and Elaine! Well, at least Elaine belongs to Jerry, but I'm not sure that Jerry belongs to Elaine.. But Jerry proposed one time, but that was just because he was so sentimental... and Elaine accepted. And when the plane was nearly chrashing, Elaine was going to tell Jerry that she loved him, but then the plane didn't chrash, so she couldn't tell... But he never found it out.  It's obvious that they belong together..

John Carter and Abby Lockhart from the "ER", they should really be together (but they're off course not...)

And all the movie stuff; Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl....

And yeah, from Harry Potter: Ron and Hermione...  :p but that's a book though.........

In TV, I think Willow should go with Oz again.  Or maybe back with Tara.  I like both of them!

In movies, Gigolo Joe and Gigolo Jane from "Artificial Intelligence".  I mean, they're perfect for each other.

Patricia: I've never been with Mecha.
Gigolo Joe: That makes two of us.

Wait, that quote has nothing to do with this notion, does it?  Forget the quote.  Naw, screw the whole thing.

Kryten, from Red Dwarf, should get back together with Camille  :D

Kryten: It's the old, old story:
           Droid meets Droid,
           Droid becomes Chameleon,
           Droid loses Chameleon,
           Chameleon turns into Blob,
           Droid gets Blob back again,
           Blob meets Blob,
           Blob goes off with Blob,
and Droid loses Blob, Chameleon, and Droid.
How many times have we seen that story?
