I'd go for Moe Syszlak, without the i'm so ugly side.

I'm not sure if this thread will stay, seeing as how Faze made a point of closing Future Shock's Simpsons thread. Then again, that could've just been because he's, you know, Future Shock.

Anyway, I relate to Lisa the most--so I guess she most resembles me personality-wise. As far as physical appearance goes...well, let's just say that Matt Groening's unflattering drawing style still can't capture my particular brand of ugliness.

Surprisingly (?) enough, before I clicked on the topic I meant to say Moe. I'm not going to give much, if any thought, so I will say Santa's Little Helper, or the gay guy who saved Homer with a robotic santa.

Oh, personality wise it's totally Lisa, with maybe a tinge of Bart. Maybe some inter-relations going on there...mmm...yeah...

I will say Bart because of some of the crazy adventures I've gotten up to, but I'm also like Lisa, I'm told I'm smart and I'm probably the black sheep of my family because of that :p

I resemble one of those minor background characters from the first few seasons who look kind of deformed and vaguely resemble a pre-existing character.

Incidentally, I've been re-evaluating the Simpsons lately, and there's one line, in my entire life, that I have never quite understood:

(More-or-less paraphrased)

Burns: Nonsense! Dogs are for idiots! Think about it, Smithers: if I went into your house and starting sniffing at your crotch and pawing at your clothes, what would you say?
Smithers: Uh, if you did it, sir?
Burns: Exactly! You'd be fit to be tied!

It's always been one of the bigger mysteries involved in my life. :(

Fun fact: For a long time in my youth, I took it as fact that James Taylor had been a previous President. These days I treat the idea of folk singers becoming heads of state with a little bit more skepticism. The innocence of youth. :hmpf:

I don't think I've ever seen a person, either cartoon or real, who has caused me to think "hey, they look just like me."

Maybe I have an unusual self-image.

Either that or a poor memory.

Other people have said I looked like everything from that guy who does that Jizzed in my Pants video on SNL, to Sydney Crosby. I really doubt the latter.

It seems to be an idiom which arose around the time when restraint in a straight-jacket was the only effective 'treatment' of people who became uncontrollably violent when they were sufficently angered, provoked, or were just plain insane.

So "fit to be tied" -> REALLY angry.

It's not a phrase I've ever used (or even thought of using) but I think I have encountered it previously. What I can't recall is whether I already 'knew' the meaning or had just figured it out for myself from the context.

Well, if I was a non-PEELican trying to pick the imposter I don't think the one with...
  • capitalised initials
  • periods after the initials
     and
  • a space between the initials and the surname
is the one I would have gone for.

[Edit]
Though, to be fair, with over 80 posts and a 2007 sign-up date, he didn't exactly just pop over night. I've probably just assumed any of his posts that I may have seen were from the other, less formally spelled, Icy Weiner.

I'd say Lisa without all that don't kill animals and environment stuff. There's probably another character that suits me better but I can't think of one right now as I'm in a hurry.

Not, of course, that 'who you are most like' is the same thing as 'who most resembles you'.

If I could find some of my old pictures, I'd show ya, but Sideshow Bob definitely resembles me.

Or Disco Stu, now that my hair is shorter.
