Also about Ghostbusters III. Surprised I hadn't seen this before. Reports are saying that Reitman will direct again and the original cast will be back, including the retired Rick Moranis. Recent drafts say it will be a reunion film instead of the rumored "new generation" film.

I love the cgi in the original Tron because it doesn't try to hide the fact that it's bad cgi. They knew it wasn't advanced enough to look like anything real so they just made a film that's set in circa 1982 cgi

Tron: The Motion Picture: The Game was excellent closure to the series, I am skeptical about this cynical franchise reboot! And I'm usually so receptive to cynical franchise reboots, that's what is killing me inside.

Rewatched Tron the other night. I don't get why they chose Tron as the title... he's not really the main character... It's all about Flynn! And Tron 2 looks to be even less about tron, who know's he may still be in it.

One of the things i'm most excited about, is the music. Daft Punk is doing it. That's awesome.

Ha, I love Tron.  Wow, a movie that people are talking about on here that I've actually seen!!!!  :O  :O  If I had seen it again more recently (than the 3 or so years ago that I last saw it on TV) I could probably state something as to why they chose that as the title, but as it is I haven't, so I can't.
Also every Daft Punk song that I've heard is awesome.

I thought 2010 was going to be another off year for film, but there's some I'm really looking forward to. Especially now I'm Here, even though it's a 30 minute short. I want to know what the August Surprise film will be this year. You know, that film that comes out during late July and August that you don't really hear about until it comes out and then you're like "ZOMG THIS SHIT IS AMAZING!!!1!" and becomes an instant cult classic. Like Moon, Inglourious Basterds, District 9, Little Miss Sunshine, and Garden State, or the more comedic side of the phenomenon with The 40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad, and Tropic Thunder. Even Snakes on a Plane is an August Surprise. It could be The Expendables this year on the action side, but I'm really wondering what the indie and comedy surprises will be.
