Apparently Prince William may appear in an episode where Homer wins a trip to London (That's right, WINS) and Bart + William become good friends. What kind of a crap story line would that be.

P.S. It may have been Prince Harry, i'm not sure.

Tom Savini, was he the guy who spoke at Krusty's funeral? The real boring stuttery guy?

Well, him and Britney cos she din't really do much, only killed and old guy.

Pierce Brosnan, Aerosmith, Smashing Pumpkins, Mel Gibson, U2, Micheal Keaton and Stephen Hawking were cool.

Richard Gere was ok: "It's a good thing I have inner peace or I'd kick your ass!"

I didn't think Micheal Jackson really did the voice, I thought I noticed someone else's name "as the voice of Micheal" in the credits.
He's not on the official website celebrity guest list anyway.

FazeShift, you've never heard of Bob Newhart?

*slaps FazeShift*

Tom Savini was in "Worst Episode Ever". He's the special effects guy who's appearing at the Android's Dungeon when Comic Book Guy has his heart attack.

PS, Michael Jackson did do the voice, but he's a bigshot like Dustin Hoffman and didn't go by his real name. Oh and also he didn't sing, because of some record contract dealie or something.

Another low-point was Paul McCarntney... what the hell was he doing there? Why would he be at Apu's? I thought that was pretty forced... perhaps even a preview of things to come.

He did the voice uncredited which is why it doesnt show up in the credits.

It is hard to decide who the worst actual star is, because the recent episodes have been so poor they would be obvious choices, however the guest stars may not have been too bad.

One of the worst guest stars was Spinal Tap.  I had never heard from them before. Not even my dad heard from them. Are they supposed to be well-known?  They suck man.  Some months later, I saw them again in an IBM commercial.  That sucked even more.

The concert scene was so lame, with that half-inflated satan thing.

They're a parody, not a real rock band; they're actually supposed to suck. Check out their movie, it's hilarious.

Definately Lisa Kudrow.

Its not that she was bad, it was her character. She was just another Alisson (played by Winona Ryder I think) type character who made Lisa jealous.

And also all of the guest stars in the final segment of TOH10. Pointless

Spinal Tap! That was awesome!
One of the best in my opinion!

We salute you, my half inflated dark lord!
My friends and I will yell: Medium Setting! At each other! The hockey-splish-splash show thing was good too.

Heheh, Spinal Tap rule, they actually have an album (basically the film soundtrack, g'uh), which I must locate.
"Good show last nite."
"Yeah, quite good."

Kryten, Gay Byrne is an Irish celebrity, everybody knows him here.

It's one of those "across the pond" type things (stupid cliches, grrr). Not every country knows other countries's celebrities like me not know ing Bob-frickin-Newhart.

But has he ever been on "The Simpsons"? Bob Newhart has.

Was he the star of two internationally popular sitcoms? Bob Newhart was.

Nope. Some American celebs become famous internationally, like sitcom stars. Ask Ricky if he knows who Dave Coulier is.  :p

Hey, there's a few Irish stars that made it to Hollywood too, Gabriel Byrne (no relation to Gay Byrne) - End of Days, Usual Suspects; Liam Neeson - Micheal Collins, The Phantom Menace; Pierce Brosnan - well, Bond, d'uh.

What I'm saying is, lots of American sitcoms are well known in the USA. The reverse is not true. "Father Ted" is the exception that proves the rule.

I know they're not Irish and I certainly didn't say or imply they were, Father Ted had Irish actors in it and it was set in Ireland, other than that it was mostly British.

Britney may suck, but at least her appearance was short, and the plot didn't revolve around her entirely. That Mel Gibson episode makes me want to cry.
The Gibson episode wasn't great but there have def been worse guests, and the actual remake of "Mr Smith goes to Washington" where Gibson takes out the the whole zionist american goverment was class and a great prediction of things to cum

There's plenty but there's two that spring instantly to mind:

- REM's utterly pointless appearance in 'Homer the Moe'...made even more vomit inducing by the "...and we should all thank REM for..." arse kissing that followed.

- All of the guest stars that appeared in the episode where they went to England...all utterly contrived and painfully unfunny.

The only one of those I thought was funny was Ian McKellen.
