Anyone remember this episode from season two, Dave. Jorge Garcia who plays lottery winner Hugo "Hurley" Reyes stole the whole darn show.

Woo, Ben episode... the alex pedo scene was awesome.
I didn't see it that way. I think Ben is starting to remember the island. In order for the plane to not have crashed, it must have crashed initially so the losties could blow up the bomb. That may have reset time for them (even to the beginning of life) but they STILL would have had to have already lived and blown up that bomb. (thats why jack had the cut) So some where in their memory is the island. Normally, Ben would have totally sacrificed the one person to save the rest (screw over alex, help the rest of the students). But he didnt, and I think its cuz he knew he had more of a connection to alex then just teacher/student. They must all start remembering soon.

Well yeah, the two time lines will start to merge/one will transition out in the next few eps. The last third of the season will be one story line. Can't wait for the Richard centric ep. Wonder if he'll have a flash sideways. He'd still be alive, since Jacob would've still given him his gift so long ago.

omg i want the Richard ep naaoowwww! We've been waiting SEASONS to see more of this guy.
Yeah didn't they make some comment about going oldskool back to the beach, like old times, or something? Totally a nod to season 1, that was cool. Despite everything they've been through and everywhere they've been they still end up in the same place.

I wish I could go back in time to when Season 4 premiered so I could talk about the show here. I just got into it, of course during it's final season.

In that crazy explanation, there is truth..
However, this thread is kinda dying. I've gone to other avenues to read theories and discussions and get ideas now. You guys don't cut it anymore. Don't worry, we can still sleep together.

I watched the entire series up to this point over the past month, and I have to say that the end of last season and so far this season hasn't been up to the energy of the past. Last season was really interesting the entire time with the Dharmaville storyline, but it ended with no real suspense. Three things could've happened: they don't get the bomb to work, they get the bomb to work and cause an alternate timeline, or they get the bomb to work which was actually the inevitable and they all die and the last season is only flash backs because everybody's dead. Except Desmond. You know, I think this season's not as thrilling because of the lack of Desmond. Actually, I'm pretty certain that it's the lack of Desmond. Sure, most of Dharmaville didn't have him, but at least you had Daniel or Horace or Hurley to awesome it up a little. But they went apeshit at the end of the last season and killed off every interesting character. They even finally introduced a possible interesting character (Jacob) and killed him! Now Daniel and Horace are dead and Hurley hasn't been doing a whole lot (other than seeing dead people, but that's nothing new really). And I liked the direction Sawyer took last season, but so far he's just been an emo kid. I demand more Desmond now!

Hello, I am back. And I love Lost. Did you forget that about me? Did you not care? Do you even know who I am? ALL WILL BE ANSWERED!
By the way, everybody is talking about how the two alternate realities are going to merge, but to be honest, I really hope that they DON'T. I think the writers are doing something no other show has done, and that's give two endings to a show. The two storylines don't need to merge to be satisfying...that's the whole point. In one reality, all the mysteries and questions are being answered, and the writers can do whatever they want with the characters to progress the plot. In the other reality, the writers can show us a different universe, where all the characters we have come to love, even ones who have died, have a happy ending and never go to the island. I have a sneaking suspicion that the two alternate realities MAY end up having something to do with one another, but as I said, I don't think they need to. I think they work excellently the way we've been seeing so far...in the reality we're familiar with the characters are still doomed to their fates because of Jacob...but in this new reality, they're free to live out their lives and earn the redemption we know they really deserve.

I read this posted elsewhere: "So wow, Jacob was kind of a dick tonight, what with the beatdowns and the shouting and the waterboarding and the "fuck you" rock-grams, huh?"heh rock-grams And: "Well, Jacob is kind of old. Maybe this is the equivalent of yelling at the neighbor kids. "Get the hell off my sand! You damn kids these days with your eyeliner and vandalism of my statue-house. I used to have an upstairs, you know; now all I have is a foot! I ought to beat your punk ass for that."Bahah! Yes, I'm going elsewhere for my Losties commentary and post-show chats! Damn you PEEL! Pick up your game!
