I got an idea! Let's list episode titles from any show and what the name parodies. But I'm limiting only 10 per post. But, you can have as many posts as you damn well want. I'll start.

The Simpsons:

"The Cryonic Woman" - "The Bionic Woman", television show.

"Parasites Lost" - Paradise Lost, novel.

"Bendless Love" - "Endless Love", song (also a film, but I'm more familiar with the song).

"The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" - The Day the Earth Stood Still, film.

"That's Lobstertainment!" - "That's Entertainment!", film/documentary.

"The Bird-bot of Ice-catraz" - The Birdman of Alcatraz, prisoner Robert Stroud (AZ #594).

"The Luck of the Fryrish" - 'Luck of the Irsih', colloquial saying.

"The Cyber House Rules" - The Cider House Rules, novel/film.

"Insane in the Mainframe" - "Insane in the Membrane", song.

"Time keeps on slippin'" - "Time keeps on slipping...", lyric from "Fly Like an Eagle", song.

"Roswell that Ends Well" - 'All's well that ends well', colloquial saying.

"A Tale of Two Santas" - A Tale of Two Cities, novel.

That's all I can think of.

Otis, The Honking is a straight parody (in some places) of The Howling, a werewolf film. The Haunting was also very very craptacular.

"Simpsoncaralasticasiosexpeala(annoyed grunt)ious" (  :confused: ) sums up that nearly the entire episode is a parody of Mary Poppins.

Next you'll be telling us "The Principal and the Pauper" wasn't parodied from the 1990 Disney short "The Prince and the Pauper," and it was actually parodied from the Mark Twain story of the same name.

Sorry, but I'm wasn't correcting you.  The way I see it a Title parody can parody to things.  The Honking, that could have also been parodying the Haunting.  After all they did start the episode in a "haunted" house.  People can get mixed opinions about title parodies.
