It also seemed really cheesy, like those scifi-ish shows that came on in the afternoon and copied of Hercules/Xena production values or some such.  But you're absolutely right, that was some pretty shitty BS considering the movie already addressed that.  I'd say the movie was pretty decent, but like I said, I could never get into the show.... nor its spin-off Atlantis... though I tried.

Farscape on the other hand was the shit.... :shifty:

Luckily I've only seen through like season 2 or 3...  So the rest of the series will be brand new whenever I get a chance to watch it.  My life is so awesome!

It only gets better.
Scorpius is probably one of the coolest villains ever.

Last season Fringe had one of the best individual episodes for a show (non-comedy) I had ever seen....I'm talking about the White Tulip episode.  That one probably ranks in my Top 5 along with the first 2 episodes of House Season 6.

I'll have to  check that one out whilst skipping through time.  And I agree that Scorpius was a badass... but that's what happens when you're a bastard child.... like myself. ^_^

Well, it was pretty well-executed, I'll agree.

I'll have to check that one out at some point.  Almost can't wait 2 years to start watching this show.  You guys are starting to get me hyped. :)

Because it's not possible for me to watch this series whilst I am contained in the current timestream.  Silly Free Hot Meal, Trix are for kids! ^_^

So, who saw Immortality? It was a very good episode, and had a really good, unexpected plot twist.

I wonder if they ended up creating the vaccine from the queen bug?  They should, so all that was not done in waste.  But I guess that has nothing to do with the overall flow to the show and thus, not worth mentioning.

Pretty sure it's one of those small things that no one's supposed to any attention to.

First, it is Walternet, not Walternate.
Second, yes, I think that will happen.  It is clear Faulivia still has feelings for Peter (I originally thought that was all a ploy...now I think I am wrong after what happened in the last episode).  They also state Olivia and Peter will try their relationship out next episode.  (the quote was something like this) Peter: "I have seen what it is like for us to be together, and I liked it."  If that fails, then he will want Faulivia back.  (still though, I think for all Olivia had to go through to get back to Universe A, I would have thought she would have warmed up to Peter a bit quicker)

Either way, in the end all, I still feel they will find a way to let both universes survive.

(Mouse slipped for a moment, so if you saw a blank post, ignore that)
I'm pretty sure it started out as a ploy, but Faulivia eventually developed feelings for Peter.
There's also another question out there to be answered on Fringe: Who is Sam Weiss? Is he one of the first people, an Observer, or simply someone who had stumbled across a massive amount of information?

hmmm...they also call the fake Olivia "Bolivia" on that report.  I was fairly sure they were saying Faulivia as in Fake Olivia (they even state that's how Walter named her in the episodes)...it's French; faux Olivia = False Olivia = Faulivia

Saw the trailer for Next Friday's episode. Apparently, the Peter-Olivia relationship started when they were children.
....now to impatiently wait 1 week for it.

Look, Fringe, I really like you and whatever... But how do you expect me to believe that Peter and Olivia have NO memory of meeting each other when they were kids? NEITHER of them? That's messed up.

You mean the Observers? More like the Interferers! Hahah... ha... Sorry.

Having Christopher Lloyd as a guest star in an episode about time travel was a stroke of genius, though.

I can believe that Peter and Olivia wouldn't remember meeting each other when they were kids. I know that I probably wouldn't recognise someone today if I hadn't seen them since we were pure, innocent-faced kids. Especially someone I'd only known very briefly at that time. Olivia didn't even remember being one of the cortexiphan subjects in the first place, did she? What I want to know is why Peter doesn't remember feeling like he wasn't home..

If you are constantly told something over years and years, eventually you might begin to believe it until you forget about your original thoughts.

Yes. Yes.

Yes.

Every time I watch a new episode, I think to myself "Jeez this show has changed so much in only 3 seasons."
But I guess that's true for a lot of shows, I've only really thought about it while watching this for some reason.

Did anyone else notice that Future walter seemed to have suffered a stroke and scarcely moved his right (our left) side? Even when he talked he seemed to be using the left side of his mouth more. Go back and re watch it...

I didn't like this show, I watched the first 3 episodes and it's too much of a formula. It's like X-Files for people with brain damage! I makes me want to watch the X-files again because it's a better show. Lost was also better.

I literally just finished Season 2 tonight, I'm loving it so far, such an awesome show. It does take a few episodes to get properly into it, but once you settle in it's addictive as fuck.

And so I shall commence with Season 3 tomorrow! :D
