Didn't you just read that it's being re-released, a few extra bucks and 100 times the screen and sound experience! Damn woman! Anyway, I watched Pineapple Express again, nice! If I'm not mistaken, James Franco pulls a Scarface impression near the end, lol.

My boyfriend and I had a conversation over the Twilight fad, considering neither of us have (nor do we intend to) read the books/see the movie.
We pretty much agreed with this answer:
Edward is the dream man who represents everything a girl could want in a boy. However if you already have a real boyfriend, the appeal means diddly-squat. I don't know so much about that...personally I hated Edward, and no not because he was a man.
It was because as much as he seems perfect, he is over-protective of her, so much so it seems at times like he doesn't respect her judgements, nor does he respect what it is she wants. He refuses to turn her until it's absolutely needed, ie. she's dying, instead of respecting her choice to want to be turned. Just because he feels it's wrong, he completely blanks out her wish and request. Not only that, he put her through months of emotional agony because 'it was for the best', well excuse me, doesn't she have a mind of her own? If she wants to stay with him then he's a stubborn jackass and a jerk for disrespecting that. I just don't like that, man or woman, I wouldn't like him. I do like the books though, I don't mind a lack of action in favour of emotions sometimes, and there's some action at least. Hopefully the movie will be worth skipping school for in December.
Ha I finished school on Thursday 4th so...yes

Twilight
C
Not much fault of the actors/screenwriters/director/producer, really. The story just stinks in my opinion. The movie is better than the book just because it doesn't take as long to get through. The only reason women like Twilight is because Edward is a gentlemen who truly loves Bella. The story doesn't do enough in the way of action/adventure/fantasy to appeal any further than that, with conflict coming only at the very end. Stephanie Meyer is a terrible author in my opinion. She sure knows how to draft the perfect fantasy man, but then again how many women wouldn't? She doesn't seem to understand male thought processes either. But this isn't the Book Review thread, so I digress...
As far as the movie goes, Bianca, you can't follow the romance quite like you can in the book because you don't know the characters' thoughts on screen. It seems to skip ahead very quickly, kind of like the Order of the Phoenix movie. To their credit though, they stick very closely to the book, adding in parts only necessary to facilitate the story on-screen due to the inherent shortcomings of book-to-film transition.
It really depends what your views are on twilight. Me and some of my friends are really serious twilight fans, I guarantee in 2 weeks I'll be on this thread saying it was the best movie ever. If you havent read the book, the reviews will be more 'real' in a way, critisising the movie for what it really is (dissing my own opinion, what has the world come to...)
Im just glad it didnt turn out like eragon, leaving out some of the most important parts of the book and changing it completely, now that was a shit movie.
Overall I dont know why I asked the question, taking all bets, what will I think of the movie Also, I hate movie critics, and I dont know why I read the damn things, yes, lets all diss Bianca on her strange taste of movies...
Twilight was a swick movie! Of course, there's a lot in the book I would have liked them to put in, and I don't believe their budget was that tight, but overall I loved it and the DVD will be going straight into my DVD player A-
