That's probably the plus side that they will most likely be making another show, but I'm still not happy about their cut-down last season of the war on everything.

This is good news. They've got to move on from generic satire, it's getting stale. The War has been hit and miss from the start, and this season there has been a lot more misses than hits.

They should return to doing something with a narrower focus, similar in style to CNNNN and their election specials. They were better than the current show.

Yes. Making my 1000th post in the "The Chaser's War On Everything" thread feels right...

Second last ep of the War ever tonight, folks. And here's an exclusive sneak preview: there will be jokes about MasterChef.

Thanks for the requests, but there are no tickets left for the last show - sorry about that.

I was listening to the radio and heard that people are pissed about the sketch to do with the seeing eye dog, when I saw that one I just knew somebody would get a hair up their ass when any sane person can understand that sketch was making fun of the drunk idiots not the dogs.

Are you serious?! Wow, it's like people actually want to get offended so they read into things way too much.

Sad one?
Did it end with an exceptionally funny skit to end all skits?

I meant sad 'cause it was the last episode. Why didn't you watch it huh? HUH?!

Ah, Jezzy, it was the message! Emotional speech about the ending, however the Chaser would probably spend most of the time on funny things, not stuffity stuff.
Everyone thinks its sad 'cause it was the last episode, and yes, but anything else IN that episode which made it sad.

Now that its ended, how will you cope without your weekly funnies?

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knew what episode it this is;

They were making fun of TodayTonight of something similar, and Chas was shovelling dirt from one pile to another. There was something in TodayTonight that made no sense at all, about smart investment or something, and the reporter was using dirt to represent money. As Chas was shovelling dirt from the big pile to the small pile, and he said something like "this is the size of a normal person's brain" and he pointed to the big pile "and this is the size of <reporter's name>'s brain" and he pointed to the little pile. "Every time you watch one of <reporter's name>'s reports, a bit of your brain gets thrown away", and he shovelled the dirt from the big pile onto the ground.

I tried to find the episode for ages, and i didn't find anything, so i was just wondering if anyone knew.

My favourite part of this week's Yes We Canberra had to be The Burning Issue. But then, any time they call Bob Francis is hilarious.

Edited for annoying typo.
