Man, fantastic episode tonight. Great story, and I liked the Menoush character. And definitely excited to see where Jeff, Lester, Morgan, and Ellie's detective work into Chuck's secret will lead.

Weap-Con FTW!

The ep was a bit slow until the last third.. that girl from the plane just looks there for the looks (probably saving her for later).. the Wep-Con was hilarious but too absurd (looked like a total anarchy place where spys can shot and capture each other without anyone noticing?).. big points where Chuck doing what he most feared the CIA/NSA could do to him (tought they presented the nerd guy as a totally arse on porpouse to make it easier to us) and the begining of what will probably be the uncovering of Chuck's secret by Morgan/Ellie ..

Its curious how Casey is increasingly accepting Chuck as an equal.. to Sarah's horror...
Also noticed how they saved Shaw time...
They have 7 eps to go now... hope they begin something serious because until now the Ring operatives looks more clowns than relentless killers (Fulcrum agents like Vincent were far more menacing)

Yeah, I definitely agree with the notion that the Ring just doesn't seem that evil yet, even compared to FULCRUM.

Great use of Shaw and Hannah in the latest episode, too. I really do like these two new characters and how they've thrown variables into the standard Chuck/Sarah/Casey method.

Oh come on.... so much build-up of the Morgan/Ellie investigaing Chuck for this? Thats cheating..

Still i think its not working much well... all really nice stuff is at the end when we see a bit more of the Ring and they discovering that Shaw is alive..

Might this became dangerous for Devon? (not theorically since that Ring girl that "recluted" him is dead). Also the Hannah issue was interesting but a bit dissapointing .. how are they covering that some spys tried to assault a musseum and tried to kill her with a not much discrete way?

The Buy More revolt was the dumbest Buy More subplot in a long line of dumb Buy More subplots.  It made absolutely no narrative sense.  I can't even fathom how it stays in business with all the midday closings and various other shenanigans that have occurred.  And how the hell does the idea make sense to anyone other than Jeffster?  "We're going to hold the store hostage until we *don't* get fired?  Where were the news vans covering the group of crazy people barricaded inside a store?  Where were the police?  That sort of thing can't possibly go unnoticed in a small town, let along Burbank.  And where did all the Nerf guns come from?

And seriously, Diedrich Bader, you're not going to tell your superiors you found the CIA's secret underground base?  And we're just supposed to take it on faith that you didn't tell them beforehand where you were going, since nobody seems to be concerned that The Ring might send in another team when this one mysteriously disappears?

Chuck can't flash until he tells Morgan all of his secrets?  I agree that Morgan needed to find out, but like this?  Come on, that was just lazy.  Furthermore, since when does secret-keeping inhibit flashing?

Well it was more that Chuck was overly frustrated and depressed because he had to talk to someone and really had no one.. could not tell Ellie, Awesome refused (understably) , as he pointed out Sarah and Shaw dont seem good option and the rest of his world cant know..
Once he talks it out to Morgan is like blowing off that pressure , he relax and then the intersec can work..

I agree that the Buymoria revolution was moronic, Big Mike seems to just be filling for comic relief, he is comic relief but its supossed to be the boss come on... not in level with Jeff & Lester..

Overall i liked a lot the ep.. maybe last episodes lowered the standard so much than this one with its big happenings seems like a great episode..
And good news, acording to the wikipedia , Chuck season 3 will have at least 19 chapters... when did that happen? I had readed a lot of times even before the season started that NBC had cutted down the budget , the number of sec characters and the number of episodes down to 13.. this morning while in the coffe break i was complaining to a coworker than they were misserably loosing time with pointless and dumb plots and than they had allready consumed 8 episodes without going anywhere and now only 5 remained.. then he said that it was going to have more than 13 and i didnt believed it..

shame on me

BTW.... i was right (not really any achievemnt) about Hannah... it worked out just same as that Sandwich girl... just totally predictible.. and thats a big dissapointment.. it was a totally expendable character that didnt added anything (unless she comes back later as a Ring operative or something)

Hey man, I worked in a Best Buy for two holiday seasons, and the one thing there's no shortage of is Nerf guns...

This is getting too innecesarily messy..

So let see if i get this straight:

-Chuck loves Sarah, Sarah loves Chuck
-Chuck & Sarah cant get together because Sarah is a spy and Chuck wants his life back
-Chuck manages to get his life but choses to became a Spy because Sarah tells him he can be one
-Chuck tries hard to became a Spy and choses it over getting Sarah
-Sarah then loves no more Chuck and loves Superman
-Sarah now points that the only way of she and Chuck matching is Chuck becaming a Spy
-Chuck becames a spy but Sarah doesnt love him anymore because she finds him changed

STOP IT!! I get that Chuck/Sarah relationship is impossible and one basis for the show.. but stop messing it so badly..its becaming quite dull to follow .

Oh.. and it was obvious that they werent axing Casey ... they cant axe one of the pilars of the show.. it will be interesting his adaption to civ life and his eventual return to action since he WILL return (apart from killing bad guys who threat Chuck's life)

plus im the only one who think Jeff and Lester are getting too much heavy? Its like over-bufoning them ... i think they might burn them ... and thats hard considering those characters.. its curious how they remove every week sec characters like Morgan, Devon, Eillie , Shaw.. but those two allways ghet their screen time, each time doing stupidiest things... i guess they are quite cheap

The next episode was the original end to the season, so i reckon shaw is going to go in the next ep, death or something else, and the six eps after that are going to be a bit of a stand alone pod of eps.

It was a quite packed episode..

The first part looked lame, not because Chuck's "assault" , but because if Shaw was not a traitor it looked lame and gratoitous him bringing Sarah there just to show her the video.. after seeing the ep it appears that he was allready trying to abduct her with a vengeance and Chuck really did "rescue" her..

Casey's request for a new Crown Vics was pure win, Morgan inclusion in the CIA is still quite weird... isnt Chuck suposed to protect him from this world of death and dangers?

And also Shaw's death looks quite convenient... still dying but falling into a river ? no body?  venganze-return anyone?

The lastest Chuck was AWESOME. 2 things happened that needed to happen. We learned that if Chuck needs to (and he will if he's going to become a real spy) he can shoot some one if its that important. Also Shaw died! (or at least for now) I kinda liked Shaw, but he had to die for Chuck and Sarah's relationship to continue. Well, I'm rambling. I'm just so happy there's a Chuck thread on PEEL. Look forward to chatting with all you guys.

They should.. but it wouldnt be the first time one villain comes back no matter how many bullets you put in him when his body is not found.

Oh.. i readed the review from next episode and i think i may be quite overoffended by it ... USA media never treated even slighty fair or well that issue.. well.. we will see what they make of it.

I really liked last week's episode. Definitely liked seeing Chuck nail Shaw. I'd been waiting for Shaw to get shot since he was first introduced. Never really liked the guy, and knew he would be up to something at one point or another. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if he came back. I'll be waiting for the day when I can use this horrible line: "Like a bad joke, he just won't die!" I agree that Morgan's inclusion into the CIA was an oddity but it was nice to see Casey put back in the game (which I just lost. Dammit) and that he requested another Vic. I suppose they felt Morgan could be a more major character, and lately he has been included a lot less. All of the Buy More cast has. Perhaps they felt they needed to kinda tie the two worlds closer together again? We shall soon find out I guess.

Well.. it went surprisingly better than expected... except for the mexican accent of that ETA defector, but well.. it only shows quite little time.

The Chuck-Sarah situation was also handled better than expected, not too pathetic or shippy .. it directly adresses the functionatility of Chuck/Sarah as a working team..

Also im amazed by Morgan... we all expect him to be pathetic and clumsy but he really excels in some fields , quite pleasant surprise there.

Well, I look at the possibility of a functioning team of Chuck and Sarah in the field and I do think it's doable without being too cheesy. Earlier in the series, they had some flashbacks of Sarah and Bryce in the field working together and it fit great. If they can capture that feel, it shouldn't be a problem...

Pretty average ep , maybe in the low ones... still working on how develop Chuck/Sarah relationship..

the older CIA couple thing was lame, only highs was Morgan's training and the very final second of Devon ... wich may be the begining of what surelly will be the season 3 final arch, i hope its a good one like the one wich ended season 2.
