Amadeus is one of my favourite movies and I've never heard it called 'weird'. The way Mozart is acted in the film may seem weird, but this really is a masterpiece of a movie. Also: watch the director's cut for the  real thing.
2001: A Space Odyssey (I think I've seen the first half of it or something) ~
See immediately! I didn't like it the first time I watched it, but the more time passed, the more I got thinking about it and liking it more. Also a masterpiece.
