In fact lots of good shit here, though CA, for someone who appreciates Last Exile, I'm disappointed with the ID4 ships; same problem as death stars, very intimidating but not very cool.

Not the coolest ship but a nice classic design is the Soyokaze from ICT...

Hmm...that battleship profile and certainly un-phallic knob on the prow remind me of the Eclipse Star Destroyer.

DrT: Well, I post it only as an excuse to plug Irresponsible Captain Tylor again.

I was going to include a link to buy it, but it seems the $40 box set is a thing of the past, Amazon is selling a re-packaged version of the exact same set for $90 now. Well, I told PEEL they should buy it back when I saw the $40 set, as it was a steal. At $90 it's more of a rip. Your fault, not mine.  :)

:bump: just to spice things up, here's possibly the most awful ship design I've seen in a while...

Well, yeah.  I'm just surprised Leiji Matsumoto didn't sue the guys behind ICT for stealing his idea for ship design.

Yamato?

For those who're confused, here's a model of the battleship Yamato (a real ship). Which is the basis for many anime starship designs.

You say Yamato; I say Yamato.  Let's call the whole thing off, NERD!
