Myeah, I work midnights anyway, so getting it now isn't as pathetic as it would normally be, right?

The new secrets:

I need a freakin DVD player with a jog wheel or frame-advance.  Stuff like the Taguarto logo on the tanker is much easier to see, but it's hard to get a good look in some cases.

I did notice that the Monster was actively scraping the mini-monsters off his/her back much like a bear would scratch his/her back against a tree.  I hadn't noticed it before.

I got some cool frames from some of the special features.

Reasonable shot of the parasite model:

Very different on the small screen, especially the portions where it shows the time stamp. I never understood why they eliminated the time stamping during the main part of the feature. I was annoyed when, towards the beginning, they made the transition from time stamp to none. It was so obvious and ruined the effect for me.

The movie was as good as I remembered. I still liked it alot when I saw it on the big screen, though. The main section of the movie (running around) seems better on the big screen, but the effect of watching "found footage" taken on a camera on a television reinvigorates the effect of this being real.
