Finally, I get to close that grammatical travesty of a thread. Anyway, this is the new, improved and combined movie trailer/movies you want to see thread. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value=" http://www.youtube.com/v/UdW7rbcfGzs"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src=" http://www.youtube.com/v/UdW7rbcfGzs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Can't wait for this movie, but I'm strongly concerned that it could suck.

Sixth ElementI don't know much about this film. The one thing that attracts me to this project is that some sites say that Danny Elfman will be the Devil, which is the role he played in the Forbidden Zone. There's also rumors that this may be a sequel to FZ. In short: 1. Danny Elfman + Composing = Awesome 2. Danny Elfman + Acting Role = Awesome 1 + 2 = Double Awesome

No info on it as yet 'cause it hasn't even entered pre-pre-pre-production, but Hideo Kojima has confirmed that a Metal Gear Solid film is in the works.

Yeah, it's a dicey one. Same with the proposed Live-Action Neon Genesis Evangelion movie which might happen when the planets fall into alignment at the winter solstice. Anyway, see here, I'm no liar: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808372/ Although you never know... could turn out alright. I have a fanciful idea - they could use David Hayter to play Snake. Hey, why not? http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0606/05/hayterth.jpg Sure, he may not look quite hard enough, but they could rough him up a bit. It's the voice that counts, after all.

That's unfortunate. I don't think I could stomach the character if he didn't have Hayter's voice.
Anyway, What's everyone think of the long-pondered and now possibly-happening movie adaptation of Alan Moore's seminal masterpiece, 'Watchmen'? I was cynical about it - but that was until I saw what a great movie they'd made of V for Vendetta.

Of course, as with all things of this sort - the movie adaptation doesn't take anything away from the source material. The only negative is having to put up with dumb cunts when they say "What? There's a comic?"

Faze, he's the Lazy Sunday and Dick in a Box guy. And I don't give a good god damn if Will is only in it for 12 seconds. You get your Irish ass to the local McTheatre and see it. Twice! Support our Arrested Development brothers.

Alan Moore doesn't want his comics to be made into movies, but people keep doing it anyway. It needs to stop.
I rather enjoyed the LXG movie... though granted I'm probably the only one on the planet who did... same with Ang Lee's Hulk. Still, even though I'd love to see the film, I can see Moore's point of view too. Originally posted by tom123: I'm looking forward to it a lot. The director did a great job with '300,' and I think he'll be faithful to Moore's work as much as possible. Has any official cast been listed, yet? It was revealed at the 2007 WonderCon that actor Gerard Butler, who worked with Snyder on 300, would have a role in the film. In May 2007, Butler said that he had yet to be cast into a specific role and may not appear in the film. Snyder promised the following June that he would find a role for him. Tom Cruise expressed interest in the role of Ozymandias to the director, but no casting decision was finalized. I'll destroy the earth if he's cast in the movie. Producers Lawrence Gordon and Lloyd Levin met with Ron Perlman to discuss playing the Comedian. Not bad. Actor Thomas Jane said in June 2007 that Snyder had expressed interest in casting him in the film. ------------------ Who watches the Watchmen?
