This was a cartoon from the early 1980's.  It had two brothers who were superheroes.  They always high-fived each other to get more powerful and to get out of trouble.
I recall as a kid seeing a glimpse of an episode where the brothers were up to their necks in mud or something and they bumped their heads together and got out of it.

Anyone know the name of this old cartoon?

Nope, but that's not going to stop me hijacking your thread.

Does anyone remember this here cartoon - it had this girl with red hair in it (she may have also owned a dog of some sort), and she was trapped on some sort of planet inhabited by robots.

There were the good robots that she would hang around with, but there were also these evil little black robots who all looked the same, and were commanded by a little white robot (love the 80s, very un-PC) who took orders from some sort of sky-bound omnipresent being. The white robot was kind of a wimp, if I recall correctly...

The intro started with the sound of a siren.

I may also have asked this same question before and subsequently forgotten the answer again. I like to think of it as my own personal game of Mememento.

When I was a kid I used to love this cartoon about a cute green alien. The title was the alien's name, I think, and I also think he may have gone to school. That's all I can remember.

Also, RE: Kurt's one, whats the one they always make fun of on scrubs, The Dakota rings? Form of an Ice Manora etc...

Sorry SJM, no clue...

The ice menorra joke is from the wonder twins who were on the super friends, as of the other cartoons, I've never heard of them in my life

I'm trying to think of this old saturday morning cartoon, I think it was about crime fighting cats, I'm pretty sure their names were scratch and sniff, and they received orders from this guy who was just a floating head

Is Hollywood totally bankrupt on ideas?  The Dukes of Hazzard movie was bad enough, but now cartoons.

The fracking Transformers have a new movie (the old Transformer movie had an awesome, hard-rocking soundtrack) and now Velour pollutes my mind with a new Care Bears movie...

It's a sorry world.

The new Transformers movie was partially filmed in Detroit!  Was it to add the iron-y irony of the "Motor City," or do the Autobots and Decepticons join forces against the evil Hondabots like Toyotamus Prime and Mazdatron?

Why is Hollywood now making movies of cartoons from the 1980's?  What's next?  A Muppet Babies movie?  A Flintstone Kids movie?

Shush! They'll hear you!

I'm making bets on a He-Man or GI Joe movie myself.

No, it's not Invader Zim! I'm 24.

I think it may have been Widget, actually. Thanks, chay's head, you're my hero.

Also, did anyone else laugh at the Robostory theme song?

This is the history of malicious robots,
And affectionate robots.
Fatties of all colors,
Petite robots that have a heart.

All I remember about Widget the World Watcher is that it was a Captain Planet-esque enviromentalist brainwashing cartoon that included a floating head with floating hands that lived in Widget's watch.

This seems to be the thread for forgetful cartoon watchers, so I'll go ahaed and ask: What were the names of the characters on the "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" cartoon? I remember a little boy in a ball cap, a dog and a girl that turned into a tomato, along with two scientists? Is it completely pathetic that I remember that much?
