Not really. It has just enough to keep you entertained, but not everything, unless they recently changed the meaning of the word.
I'm still waiting for them to put "There Will Be Blood" back up. I watched the first hour and 45 minutes of it and was planning on finishing it the next day, but noooooo.

It did get me hooked on "Entourage", so I'll allow it to live.

And by the way, chay, it IS Aaron. Not Erin.
I thought it was Erin, with the way Claire had always pronounced it (slightly NZ accent sometimes, if you ask me)... but with recent subtitles I've seen it as Aaron now.

Quote
I wish that was the scenario but why would Claire give her baby to kate and stay on the island. What would make Claire want to stay on the island and give up her baby.
Actually you make a good point. I don't know what Claire's reasons are for staying on the island, besides believing the people on the boat are there to kill them. So, I guess the scenario that plays best right now is that she dies or Kate steals him.

Who was it, Faze (i think?) that recommended it to me a few pages ago? Yeah it's not a bad site, i've spent far too long watching other series to pass the time!
Don't tell Juliet, but I've been watching Skins just to see what all the fuss is about. Now I have to watch the rest just to find out what bloody happens!! (that's how it all starts, isn't it? urgh i'm screwed)

Oh, and who understands what the title "Eggtown" means??

Mmm, I thought it was Aaron too, but she says it fucking strangley.

Mmm, i got it from Faze too, Ninjavideo that is.

Not sure... he offers ben eggs at the beginning? Thanks LOSTpedia!

Egg-town is a pejorative term that refers to the days of bartering, during the 1800s. A traveling salesman would have to barter his candy or tobacco or shoelaces for different commodities. A poor exchange would be for eggs, a relatively common item that is also highly perishable. Nobody wants to trade for eggs from a traveling salesman, because they have their own, so the salesman who accepted an egg in exchange was forced to accept a bad deal. Salesmen would use the term like "If I were you, I would stay away from Bogart. That's an egg-town." Of course, the lack of trust among salesmen was also high, and it was likely that one salesman would lie to another about the quality of a town's customers to keep them for himself. Invariably, the second salesman ventures into Bogart only to find it is truly an egg-town. He is either persuaded to not visit a town that has good customers or is tricked into visiting a town that can only offer eggs. In either case, the term "egg-town" represents a deal with undesirable outcomes. [source needed]

References in this episode include:
 - Locke's inability to makes any progress with the interrogation of Ben or Miles.
 - The deal Kate made. She is now forbidden to leave the state for any reason for at least ten years, and thus can't legally go back to the Island.
 - The barracks turn out to be Egg-town for Miles, as he tries to extort 3.2 million dollars from Ben and ends up with a grenade in his mouth instead.
 - The episode starts with literal eggs: Locke preparing two fried eggs for Ben's breakfast. He tells Ben those are the last two eggs.
 - Kate's preoccupation with the chance that she might be pregnant, and the continuing references to her child in the episode's flashforwards.

It's got to be Aaron.  I've never known a boy named that without spelling it Aaron, and all the girls spell their name Erin.

Hey shuduuup!

We say Aaron "A-ron" (The "a" in "at" or "Amsterdam" ) not "Air-rin"

EDIT: Also, i know it's Aaron, she just butchers the name when she says it. (Not that it's hard to butcher the name Aaron [Sorry to those of you called Aaron {my name's Chay for christs sake!}])

srsly? How so?

The first part of the "a" in both "At" and "Amsterdam" is the same...isn't it? Like "ham" with out the "h" or "m", or "hat" without the "h" or "t"

It is according to Dictionary.com Both have unstressed A's

Phonetically as at and am-ster-dam

Ok I was a bit disappointed with the 4th ep, it was ok but below average IMO. Really don't like the Kate and Aron storyline. Wish we saw Michael by now. Best bit was Locke and Ben but that was in the first few minutes. Next weeks ep should be a lot better, love Desmond and his eps are always interesting...

It's Aaron! Not Erin like Claire says it, not Aaahron or Atron like Chay apparently says it, not Aeron, not Aron or A-ron or Aaronman or Anon...it's AARON.

From the article:

Quote
"Season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back. Season 5 is about why they need to get back, and season 6 is about what happens when they get back."

So much for your "The flashbacks are a lie" theory, Books.  :p

Seriously, though, why on earth would the flashbacks NOT be real? That would be possibly the stupidest lamest cheapest thing ever if they showed all these flashforwards then wait "OH WAIT NO IT DOESNT HAPPEN WE JUST SHOWED THAT FOR NO REASON TO ANNOY YOU!"

Seriously Books, what are you, daft?  ;)

Ruh-row... Stage6 (Where ninja gets most of its vids from) is shutting down, so if you planned on getting a bunch of episodes of any particular show, i'd do it now. A lot of they may disappear. Ninjavideo should still be going, but it could be a bit dodgy for a while, i hope new lost still gets uploaded to somewhere good...

That's a bit of lie though, it will affect ninjavideo, as they say further down in the forum post, they may lose some of their stuff and it will take a while to find a good substitute.

Last week's episode was one of the best ever. Very much looking forward to tonight's. I think its a Juliet episode, she's pretty cool. Hasen't got much airtime this season yet.

Desmond ep more than made ep for the previous ep, I knew it would be good though because Desmond eps always are! Easily best of Season 4 and one of the best episodes ever. Also Desmond finally contacted Penny!...

Definitely the most interesting newest twist to Lost is this whole consciousness-time-swap thing. I'm liking all the new "questions" that we're having to ask about wtf is going on with the ship too.
Less Jack time. Yay!

Desmond episodes are never disappoining.

But did Constant also explain Desmond's premonitions? I'm not really sure about that.

That's how I fear Lost ending, with vague, ill-defined endings. Maybe Desmond's mind was constantly shifting around as a result of the electomagnetic explosion, and he got snippits of the future occasionally. Doesn't really explain how he only saw Charlie though.

Wow. I just had internet nostalgia (loosely related to this 'commentary') from back when X-Files was on telly and everyone would go onto the forum after an ep was aired because someone would post a bunch a questions about what we thought of the episode and we'd all post our reflections...that was fun.   :laff:
Should do that for Lost!   :p

Edit: *sees Desmond's consciousness altering ep* Ohohoho....I actually put my hand up to bid on the journal of the guy who was on the Black Rock...then I realised I wasn't actually at the auction. Aww. But that'd be an interesting read.

...Chay, we've been saying since Ben first said "I have a man on their boat" that it's almost 100% definitely Michael.

Also, I think the coolest realization in the episode was that when you find out Widmore is the one running the mission, you realize that he found out about the island from that Black Rock journal he bought at the auction.

TELL ME WHO'S ON THE BOAT, damnit... well I guess who it is, and by the sounds of it everyone else seems to know who it is (even my friend, who doesn't watch the show - she knows! cuz she reads TV Week and it spoils it, arghh bastards!!!)

@Josh; I'm with Ben (PEEL-Ben, here) in that I've been trying not to spoil who the "man on the their boat" is either...

Quote

Yeah and how much does he hate his daughter?? Cuz he must know that she's the one ringing that phone every once in a while to find Desmond. Is he doing it cuz he hated Desmond with his daughter, or because he doesn't want his Pene to find the island where Desmond is because of what the island is/holds.
