well i didn't mean that literally your movie posters said "The another ones".  I meant: Is that your English translation of the same movie title.

"the another ones" is not proper grammar in English

What choice most of his other films involve rubber faced antics for cheap laff's. Now I have not yet seen Man on the Moon and it sounds good so my opinion might change.

Even though very irritating, I thought that Jim Carreys 'liar liar' was quite amusing if you are in a no brainer kinda mood. It has some good lines in it, and it also has Cary Elwes.

Sure won't (and not just because I haven't seen it). Lord of the Rings however does, along with The Negotiator, Chicken Run and Gladiator.

Worst films include...
Titanic (oh man, that is some wasted hours)
The Million Dollar Hotel (zero entertainment value)
Meg Ryan-movies (just not my kind)
Various catastrophe-themed movies (the only catastrophic thing about them is the script)

I just don't find Jim Carrey funny.  He, and Mike Meyers, take every joke just a little too far past funny.  It seems like they're trying too hard to be funny.  They're both much better when they tone it down a bit.

I should add "Nothing but Trouble" to my worst comedy...A really bad movie.

This is a timely thread bump.  On Memorial Day, one of my nephews asked me what my favorite horror movie was.  I said it was The Crow, but I wasn't sure if it counts as a horror movie or not.  It's kind of like a horror movie in reverse.

I'll be back to add a list later...

The Crow is a great movie, with an awesome soundtrack that I play from time to time. It's been ages since I've seen it; might be time for a re-watch.

1. "Burn" - The Cure
2. "Golgotha Tenement Blues" - Machines of Loving Grace
3. "Big Empty" - Stone Temple Pilots
4. "Dead Souls" (Joy Division cover) - Nine Inch Nails
5. "Darkness" (Re-recording of "Darkness of Greed") - Rage Against the Machine
6. "Color Me Once" - Violent Femmes
7. "Ghostrider" (Suicide cover) - Rollins Band
8. "Milktoast" (Also known as "Milquetoast") - Helmet
9. "The Badge" (Poison Idea cover) - Pantera
10. "Slip Slide Melting" - For Love Not Lisa
11. "After the Flesh" - My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult
12. "Snakedriver" - The Jesus and Mary Chain
13. "Time Baby III" (Re-recording of "Time Baby II") - Medicine
14. "It Can't Rain All the Time" - Jane Siberry

I said it was The Crow, but I wasn't sure if it counts as a horror movie or not.  It's kind of like a horror movie in reverse.

Wiki calls it a 'Gothic Superhero' movie, which seems correct. There's a lot of overlap between 'gothic' and 'horror', though, and it definitely feels like a horror movie. Maybe 'gothic superhero horror'.

I was considering adding 'The Beach House' (a Lovecraftian horror movie) as favourite-horror movie, but it hasn't really stood the test of time yet.

Excellent list. I especially like the mention of The Hobbit, a movie on my personal obscure-good-movie list.

Though I haven't seen Teen Wolf, I would recommend Dog Soldiers, about a group of soldiers on training in the Scottish highlands who encounter.. strange goings-on.

I didn't think that The Hobbit was particularly obscure.  Maybe it is nowadays, since it's over forty years old and the Peter Jackson movies have made people forget that there were other film adaptations of the professor's books.

As for Teen Wolf, it's a 1985 comedy starring Michael J. Fox as a teenage werewolf.  If that isn't enough to make you want to see it, then you and I are very different people.  Also, it has Boof and Stiles.
