"It's not the poop, it's the mystery behind the poop."

I expected an entire episode about poop to be weak.

They made it work.

Last nights poo episode was great. I loved drunk waitress and I loved the clue style ending with Artemis trying to solve the case. The line "I have a bleached @ss hole" mad me laugh so hard and so did waitress trying, and failing to hit the saleswoman with a vodca bottle. I also fell off my bed laughing when Dee tries stealing the shoes and trips and goes head first into the car door.

P.S. After Sunny, I watched Testees... all I have to say is WTF did I just watch

yah, testees was not as bad as I expected but I still wonder if the creators actually think it has any kind of long-term potential. Seems like a bit of a throw-away idea...

I also laughed myself half to death at "The name's Artemis. I have a bleached asshole."

And finally, I have a new favorite phrase: Fecal forgery.

Gopher I agree with you on testees. The "WTF did I just watch" was more of where do they come up with this stuff response. Honestly watching a guy sticking a hot clothes hanger up his but to kill and stab a baby was a little... out there

It's sad that the show is already going sour after 4 seasons.
It just isn't the same, and has gotten to a point where it's too ridiculous for them to even be able to pull it off.

It really annoys me when people turn on a show while it's still fucking good. The Simpsons and Family Guy? I get that. They're pathetic now. But South Park and It's Always Sunny? Shut the fuck up and enjoy the funny, you ungrateful bastards. Ugh.

Wtf is your new avy?

Also, yeah, as if it has gotten sour? This season has been really good so far, i think there were a few low points in Season 3, but that's expected.

They've bought another 36 eps and that's it, so it'll be either another 3 seaons of 12, or 2 18 eps seasons. And it will stay funny damnit!

Another great episode

It started with them getting a bad review and by the end, they had kidnapped a reviewer, his neighbor, the reviewers cat, touched a penis, and destroyed a car........... Only on Its Always in Philidelphia.

I've been trying to tap into the zeitgeist of this show, and it's alright. It's not the greatest, but it's pretty good! I'm still having trouble telling the characters apart... especially Danny DeVito. He blends in like the invisible man!

I like Charlie's airtight justification for deviant behaviour: "WILDCARD!" :)

Nightman Cometh was great, but I thought some of Charlie's actions were out of character. The ending Day Man song was awesome. I've watched it like 10 times now :D And Dee was cute doing it.

You're a master of karate and friendship for everyone

Also, I just found out Mac is married to Dee, and Charlie to the waitress in real life, heh.

Best part of the episode was definately the first song.

And season 5 premiered tonight with "The Gang Exploits the Mortgage Crisis."

Not the greatest episode but a good start to the season. Seemed like they were trying to cram too much into it, so many side-plots that just petered out (ex, charlie's duel). Lots of good laughs in there too, tho. 7/10.

"The Gang Hits the Road"

Pretty good episode, when I first watched it I was a bit distracted and would've given it a 7/10, but having watched it again, I'm tempted to upgrade that to a 7.5. There was a lot of funny stuff in this ep, but something was still missing. Not sure, might just be less laughs per minute than the best episodes? They might be pressed for writing time, as there's the whole live nightman cometh tour.

Season 6 has started off pretty strong. Despite knowing the episode title was "Mac Fights Gay Marriage," I didn't expect the tranny Carmen to make a return. Even though a lot of the jokes were a bit obvious and repetitive, I still laughed my ass off.

Only thing that bothered me was the way it just... ended. I mean, they've done endings that way before, skipping the resolution and just building up the insanity and ending on the climax with no resolution, and usually it works, but they've never done it quite to this extreme before; I wonder how much they plan on following through these plots over the rest of the season...

heh, yes. that whole exchange was priceless.

Also loved charlie and frank going to see carmen with the whole "Who'll be the man?" question.

Almost every scene with Mac had me laughing out loud though; I had to watch the second airing at 11 because I'd been laughing so much I missed things the first time around.

Gopher: I agree the ending was a bit...abrupt and unexpected. At first I was annoyed but theres been some episodes like that so Ive come to tolerate it. I thought it was an excellent premiere. I think that tranny chick played Topher Graces cousin on That 70s show way back when but Im not sure. Did anyone notice in I think it was Season Ones dvd extras that when they were doing a reenactment of when Mac first meets the tranny that the tranny was played by Inara from Firefly? Just thought that was funny haha. My favorite episodes of last season were the DENNIS System and The Waitress is Getting Married. Lol: Hobbies? Magnets. Making them or collecting them? Just magnets. hahaa. Anyone seen kitten mittons endless loop on the dvd? wow 0_0.     I actually started a fanscript for an episode a few months ago but stopped halfway through. If Im allowed to or if anyones interested in it I can post it here. I think I titled it Sweet Dees Dating a Man Whore or something. I gotta find it !

The kissing cousin! Yes, I'm sure that was her! Thank you, I'd been trying to figure out where I'd seen her before since I started watching Sunny! In hindsight, I could've just checked imdb... but anyway.

Not seen this endless loop; saw you say that on facebook but thought you were just being silly. I should pay more attention to special features on dvds, as I have all five seasons + the xmas special.

Speaking of the xmas special... lol. Sheer awesome. The fake-outs reminded me of something my dad used to do to me and my sister actually, except we did get the gifts in the end. Frank busting out of the couch at the xmas party, and the whole classic-style claymation dream sequence... pure gold.

And what fun would IMDB be? Deny yourself the opportunity to tease your brain over recognition of someones face voice etc? Hahaha. I was actually going to IMDB her to see if it really was her but that seemed like a lot of effort and I figured some die hard fan would just correct me if i was mistaken :p                                                                      Yes the kitten mittons endless loop is an extra on dvd three i believe. I watched it all the way through to see how far it really did go and then was surprised to see the pause and actually see it loop again. Hahaha I was like no way can this continue on forever...I equated it to watching Everybody Love Hypnotoad but fuzzier/cuddlier and more mitteny. That xmas special was great - i havent seen it in a while but since holidays are approaching fast i must get into it again :D Have you listened to the episode commentary yet? Dr. Drew is on quite a bit of them analyzing the characters...Hahah that was...interesting.

I can't resist immediately commenting on the opening..

Dennis: "I haven't had time to do a pass yet... Don't look in those drawers."
Dennis' wife: "What's in them?"
Dennis: "My sex tapes."

Should be a good'un.

:edit:
double lol.

Maureen: "You and your boy-toy get out of here."
Mac:  "I'm the boy-toy"

Yes. Definitely a good one.

I think frank is right, mac shoulda done the pre-nup.

:edit2:
lost a little steam in the back half; resolutions really aren't these guys' specialty, are they?

Isnt this the only episode that is a continuation of the previous episode thats not specifically a two parter (like the gang gets whacked)? I think this should have been a part two episode because its not a standalone like the others. Ok thats my only issue with this episode. Other than that hilarious as usual. Ive seen that guy Dee banged somewhere before but I dont know where...haha... Why would you think you need to sign a phone bill? II like that that lawyer keeps coming back...Reading Ron from Reno911...that guy is awesome! :D
