Displacement on TV

You know two of my favorite shows started in 1999. Farscape and of course Futurama (well my memory for dates ain't greart but I'm sure they started in 1999 at least in the UK). And I was thinking how both show featured a character displaced from what they knew and placed into a new situation. So I've been trying to remember other shos with people who are displaced so far I rmember Quantum Leap.
