Bah, everyone knows that Geordie Star Wars is where it's at.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1EjSQ1rBYw

Ayyy, poncing off somewhere, Solo?

Fucking. Brilliant.

1.30 into part one. The view of the desert and the voice over "Sunderland!"

Made. My. Day.

I might live there, but damn it I can appreciate a bit of Geordie/Mackem rivalry.

Edit: TOTP Nutmeg-style truffle shuffle.

Well.. its going to happen again..
StarWars saga will be proyected again in teathers starting with Ep I in 2012 and ending with Ep VI in 2015 , so 3 years between (meaning movies each 6 months, probably summer / xmas , not bad).

And yes.. i will be going to see them all (despite the umpleasant perspective of see JarJar in 3D) , and eps 3 to 6 probably several times..  because yes, Lucas is a filthy money maker but yes i frakin loved those movies in the teather in 1997, now that i think of it.. the re-release of 1997 was 14 years after Return of the Jedi, and the 2012 will be 15 years afterwards , tought yes, with a silly 2.5 new movies in between..

I will go see the original trilogy definitely, I think that would be such a treat to watch the movies in an actual theater. The later three aren't worth the impending amount of cash it will take to see three 3-D movies.

I never will forget that great feeling it was seeing them in a big screen in a THX theater with 3D sound .. how great that half of 1997 was and how sad it felt walk away from the theater after the final watch of Return of the Jedi.. a bit same sensation than when we walked away from last Revenge of the Sith.. knowing it was probably the last time we watch a StarWars movie in a big theater..

I utterly hate ep1 and quite hate ep2 ..  (ep3 gets a pass even if its only for the scenes of the birth of the Empire and having Vader, the Emperor and Tarkin walking in a Star Destroyer bridge at the very end) but will probably go to see them , even for watch the yellow letters scroll down .. such idiot i am.

I would go see all six in theaters for sure. Why does everyone hate episodes 1 and 2. I loved them.

Im safe then.. because I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything.

That R2 unit has a bad motivator. I'd love to take a look at it and see if I can repair it.

I also feel like there is some sort of innuendo involving removing her restraining bolt that we are all missing.

Well... a sequel trilogy to the original films couldn't be that bad, right?
They could wheel out Harrison Ford as an aged Han Solo! That alone would be worth it, surely?

...No?

Have you seen Harrison Ford lately?  Wheel him out is right; dude's having trouble walking on his own.  Right before our eyes, he became an old man.

He seemed to still kick ass in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, whatever you may think of that movie.
