Check this out!
 http://www.starwars-union.de/index.php?id=realserie_fakten

It says the series will be out 2008, and loads of other information. Is it trustworthy though? (You have to be able to read German).

Try to make the most sense out of it at you can.

Yet much is not well known over the planned star Wars real series.  We gathered nevertheless all facts for you:

Trick start:  2008 (after last official statements of Rick McCallum) appearance date:  2008 (after last official statements of Rick McCallum) budget:  Are headed for 1.8 million USD per sequence.  Crew:  The story will come of George Lucas.  It will receive the roll of the exporting maker, Rick McCallum that of the maker.  There will be several script authors, who are engaged meanwhile also.  This authors team will meet "soon" and begin with the project (state:  March '06) length:  Are headed for at least 100 episodes á 1 hour game time.  Story the series plays in the almost 20 years between episode III and episode IV.  The series will have among other things characters in the leading roles, that had only a supporting role in the cinema films.  Figures out of the expanded universe (like novels or comic strips) should be, to see in the series in meat and blood.  In spite of the two points named previously, there will be new figures to the large part.  Daniel Logan was asked by George
Lucas whether he would have interest to play in the series a young Boba fat.  The beginning of the series should revolve probably around head money hunter (state:  March '06) Ian McDiarmid interest on that would have to emerge there and again as an Imperator in the series.  The series should be much darker than the films and revolve more around the characters, so Rick McCallum.  The series should answer if possible all questions, that yet stand the fans.  "I think will be the series all that, promised have" itself what the fans of the Prequels - Rick McCallum studio reception should take place in Sydney, Außendrehs can take place in the entire world distributed.  Is turned the series digital in Hi-Def.  Lucasfilm hopes to be able to produce effects as well as in the movie theater for the series the entire first year, therefore the entire first squadron, is supposed to be written and turned according to George Lucas in a landslide.  Is named therefore that the scripts already stand for
the total first squadron, if with the filmings begun becomes.  Around the first squadron, Lucas is concerned is delivered yet personally, after that it it into other hands.

You have to see the Original Trilogy. And not episode one. Never episode one.

And rent them/bootleg them if need be.  Don't want to be stuck with the shitty versions.  I [heart] my widescreen laserdisc rips.

I tried watching Episode I again after being impressed with Episode III.    By the end I resolved to never watch it again.  It's just unbelievably dull and uninspired.  And it's almost not even important to the other prequels, which makes it worse.  So much of it is just irrelevant.

The only good thing i liked about Episode 1 was the fight between Obi-wan, Qui Jon jinn and Darth Maul. apart from that not exactly the best film

I've told myself that if ever I get really bored I may rewrite the dialogue for Episode One - not drastically change the story - just make the dialogue more believable - all just for fun and my own amusement - though mostly to see if I can make it a more enjoyable experience...

Why do you all hate episode I? Just because it's not as good as the originals doesn't make it shit, unless you think it's shit anyway, which you do. I liked it, I just found it boring, and pointless, no wait...

I've never seen all of Episode 2. Probably only about ten minutes of it actually. But anything with Mace Windu in it can't be all bad, right?

Yeah I didn't get that! What the hell is the point in hyping a pretty cool looking villian, who then has a grand total of 12 mins of screen time and gets his ass handed to him on a platter in 15 seconds flat?!

Very odd.

Get the IMAX version.  Cuts out the worst dialogue, for the most part.

I never realized my TV was so shitty until I watched ROTS on my big screen. Wow it was so awseome. Also, an "amen" is in order for Nixorbo, for his comments on Episode One. I, being one of those borderline "almost totally obsessed freaks" of Star Wars, even found it somewhat boring. Now the novels, well, they change those. You might all want to get a copy and see if you prefer it instead.

The original Star Wars movies = awesome, a trilogy that actually works, even if it's not always the phantasmagoric spectacle it's hyped up to be.

The new movies = laughable. Not one was good, the only reason Episode III got such good reviews was because it was simply better than the first two, still by no means even approaching any of the originals.

The only character really worth watching in the 'new' triology is Palpatine.
His statements in Episode II when the Senate grants him these emergency powers make me laugh every time.

Fools.  :evillaugh:

Meh, I still thought she was worth watching.

Although I liked the political plotting of the prequel (I'm love political thrillers) leading to the the formation of the Empire, I think the cunning of Palpatine was hurt by the sheer thickheadedness of Anakin. I mean, Palpatine pretty much did everything but flash a big neon sign saying "I'ma Sith lord", yet Ani is shocked when he finally discover the truth? A bit more pretense, machiavellianism or ubtlety would've improved that part greatly.

Episode 1: Got hit on by a 9-year-old
Episode 2: Wore skimpy outfits, didn't emote.
Episode 3: Got knocked up, screamed and cried a lot.

And she was so enamored with that 9 year old hitting on her that she later married him. So I guess you can put "pedophile" in her resume.
