I have that poster as one of the obligitory nerd posters in my room.

What the feck is up with the Y-Wing in that one? And Vaders Lightsaber? And the Death Star?

Yeah I have the normal version of that poster and I always wondered about that lone Y-wing, is he reversing? Insanely making another run at the Death Star while everyone else is running away? Doing a kamikaze run?

On close examination, the Y-Wing sort of reminds me of those Naboo Fighters.

And Vaders Lightsaber has guards on the hilt. Kind of pointless for a laser sword really. The blade too looks orange.

Yeah, I think this poster was finished waybefore the movie was. Either that or it was just lots of concept art cobbled together to make a poster. That wouldn't surprise me because Lucas wasn't exactly rolling in cash when he was making Ep.IV.

Bioware is working on KOTOR 3!

Which means we'll finally find out what happened to the main characters of KOTOR 1 and 2.

Considering that Bioware is back on it and not working with Obsidian (who did do a good job never the less) I am hoping we return to playing as Revan.

It wasn't Obsidians fault the thing was so buggy. LA always pushes for Christmas release.

Also, In other news Lucas has confirmed 3D Clone Wars is go. Yet inside, I am not excited...

I think this also proves that Lucas has a fetish for anything three dimensional done on a computer.

This ties nicely with his Yoda fetish. Everyone loves 3D Yoda right?

i liked more the puppet one..
but again we even in the pupet era asume Yoda was a kickass and that he could even fly...
and that requires 3D CGI, so i acept CGI Yoda..

what i cant accept is Lucas messing arround in 3D with EVERYTHING!!!

As you renember (or probably not  ) one scene in Ep2, the one just after Anakin and Padme arrive at Naboo was filmed in Sevilla Spain..
a lot of people/fans/geeks went to the filming (myself not included, its 1000kms ) and i renember clearly a lot of pics taken..
in particular what im talking about is a large group of people who were as extras... with full costume, make-up, hats, the complete lot.. and they had of course do the things extras do in backgrounds..  talk to each other.. smile, etc..

ALMOST ALL OF THEM WERE DIGITALY TURNED INTO GUNGANS!!!!

W.T.F!!

WHY! .. why they bother in make-up, costume , talking, etc to later change all with a stupid gungan CGI head ... thats what messes up my nerves.. someone (probably Lucas) took the film and decided "lets turn all that people into gungans..its cooler!"..

One of the things i missed most in this trilogy was humans... is funny isnt?
im not anti-aliens.. but , at least in EU and "official enciclopedias" and that crap wich makes you spend a lot of money in a senseless book that Lucas uses to whip his ass with ..states that humans are the most numerous and prominent especies in the universe.. and what we got?
Clones , Droids and silly aliens worth of the worst Star Trek especies..
Just look at the films.. there is NO part or even close-up to any human Jedi, and lots and lots of Alien CGI ones...

and in the animated series is even worst..
aparently is stated that the republic cruisers and destroyers are crewed largely by clones, but commanded by "normal" people, humans mostly and aliens too.. but what we see in the animated series? a shot of the bridge of one destroyer crewed only by clones with helmet included (and 2 Jedis standing there as if looking onto nothing)

ITS SILLY! ITS POINTLESS! ITS CRAP!
So sorry for them but many of us are going to continue in the old saga , with the calamary who didnt look like a silly creature at all..(did we see any Calamary in the 3 new movies? yes and you need a fu*$%#@ google to see them dancing in the bubble of water.. thats why the ep3 was soo much better than the other 2.. because it contained nods to the old ones.. and yet in the end it fails

It's not the bugs that bug me (lol see what I did there?) - it was that instead of a proper ending, we got a "This is what would have happened had we bothered to finish" monologue followed by a completely unexplained deus ex machina.

Oh yeah, the ending. I just assumed the game stopped not ended really.

Speaking of games, I and many other former SWG players get E-mails from SOE over Star Wars Galaxies which we left because they ripped out the nice and simple turn based traditional combat and the mix and match profession system for utter crap trying to pursuade me to resubscribe because of events/rehashed content being branded as new.




This one sort of takes the cake.

Never. EA  has crushed these rumours, simply stating that since the KOTOR franchise 'wasn't finacially apt' that chances of seeing KOTOR 3 are slim to none.

I forgot EA bought out Bioware  .

What they need to do and fast is another X-Wing.. period..
maybe not necesarily as we know but a true succesor, a space sim or space arcade with the freedom and so that made X-wing soo good..

Things you notice every time in the Star Wars films, GO!

• The two kids at end of the pod race, one goes up for the high five, the other leaves him hanging like a sucker, BAM! 
• Admiral Piett gets promoted due to Vaders chokey-choke method of managing, and just before the scene wipe, he nods to someone offscreen, presumably a dead-guy remover just standing around to clean up the fresh corpse!  :D
• When Leia gets blasted in the door of the shield station on Endor, Han totally cops a feel of her boob.
