The TV show has been confirmed, but no cast has yet, though some people, such as Ewan McGreggor and the kid who played Boba Fett, have showed interest in returning.

I know this is a little off topic, but that Indiana Jones 4 really needs to not happen.  Seriously.  As for the Star Wars tv series....meh.  I don't pay attention to anything beyond the movies and (to some extent) the video games these days.

Ribbons, you just saw the best one.  You should enjoy Return of the Jedi too though.

Yeah, the Star Wars Battlefront games rock! Except the PSP version of 2 is lacking of a few levels, Geonosis and various others, and thats not good.

Hmm, you may be able to kick rebel ass from the comfort of your chair, but I can kick rebel ass from the comfort of my chair, my roof, or my toilet!

Exactly.  I still love the old films, and Revenge of the Sith (AOTC is okay).  I just can't keep track of the rest.  When I was younger I read some of the books though.

Yeah, I'm reading the X-Wing series and Shatterpoint at the same time. Labrynth of Evil is really awesome, and it helps you understand Obi-Wan's line in ROTS " That time on Cato Nemoidia doesn't, doesn't count". I got all six films during Xmas (sorry to those who hate me not saying Christmas *just did* ) I heard that the TV series wasn't going to have any main characters at all... just have stuff with other people, or minor characters.. Also, I heard Star Wars was coming to a Manga styled comic this year published by Tokyopop....and Clone Wars will continue in CN. Both TV shows due in 2007. They'd better be damned good.

So, er Star Wars. Um... New comic series coming out set 100 years after the end of the NJO. Lot's of Sith, Jedi getting their asses handed to them, the Skywalker of the day is a Pirate. Good times.

Just thought I'd say that 

Anyway, I've been picking up the first two of the new Knights of the Old Republic comic series - quite good - impressed with my first ever purchase of a non-electronic Star Wars doodad. I'm now tempted to back date and hunt down the other earlier comics set in roughly the same period but apparently the dialogue makes the Prequels look master class. Anyway, yeah, really enjoying this comic series - but already there's a lot of worry among some of the other KOTOR guys (and gals - they completely outrank us boys on one forum I go to) about where its headed, whether it's going to go crashing through our own niave precomceptions of the build-up to the first game, and also the errors "No, Taris is not like that, why are so many aliens there!?! Have they even played the game!?!" but the worst one, as far as response has gone, was the fact that in the Preview for #3, one of the characters carelessly mentions the word "BACTA"
And everyone's going NOOOOOOOOOOO the fools! Haven't they bloody heard of KOLTO!!!! Have they even played the bloody game!?! BACTA doesn't come around for MILLENIA!!!!
And so on.

@Spy: Well, we [hopefully] all know what Star Trek ended up as, but I don't think Lucas could make a shitload of movies. Unless he based the mon the books or had a 3rd trilogy set after Episode Six, Return of the Jedi...
