I liked the movie, Titanic.  The special effects really captured the surrealism of the Titanic sinking.  Plus, I liked how Rose rebelled against her family by dating Jack, and the love story between those two.  Hey, men can be romantics, too!  Kate Winslet is hot!

The one thing I didn't like was that the movie was way overhyped.  Plus, it seemed that those teeny-bopper girly-girls who liked the movie and others as well almost began to believe that Jack and Rose really existed!  Other than that, it was a great movie!

Well, I have seen both of them, the old one being black and white, and I have to say that they are both better in differant ways. The old one doesn't have a stupid love story mucking up the whole movie, but then the new one, has great effects.

Then again, the whole Rose and Jack thing seemed kinda cool at the end in the new one. All those years later and Rose had the pendant they were looking for  :p

Good movie, and hope it keeps it's record of more than $1.6 billion* in ticket sales for a while to come.

I laugh at King Kong, although it was a good movie as well. But I still don't get why it was billed as being able to beat Titanic in ticket sales.

I really liked the movie, I thought it had an excellent sideplot aside from the massive death scene towards the end, and it really conveyed the wealth and power of the early 20th century.
