Your shift key seems to be broken.  You may wish to invest in a new keyboard.

The show seems like it's gonna be hilarious - I hope it gets picked up soon.  A drugged out Billy West puppet running rampant?  Sign me up.

I'm just a little worried about what network/channel would be willing to pick it up.  While I don't think any of the major cable channels will have a problem with out-of-control substance abuse and violence, it's sad to say I think they might have a problem with language.  I could be wrong - I don't have cable at the moment , so I'm not actually sure what's acceptable these days. I'd say that Comedy Central might be a good place for this show, but even South Park doesn't use "f***" that frequently, do they?  I guess HBO has a couple of shows that might (Deadwood comes to mind), but I can't exactly see this show fitting into their programming schedule.

In some episodes, yes, but apart from the movie (and the shorts that started it), it's made censored so I don't think it matters.

Ooh, burn!

Anyway, good trailer. Puppets doing incredibly innappropaite things sounds very Team America-esque, but hey, I loved Team America, so I'm not complaining. I just hope there's some network out there that's willing to touch this show.  :)

Because I can't focus on the message because my eyes are bleeding from trying to read it.  Because, you know, I'm used to reading things written that adhere to the basic rules of the English language.

Don't get into a language fight with me, you're only going to embarrass yourself.  With a lot of help from me.

No, small would be lower case, a concept you can't seem to grasp.

While I wouldn't recommend questioning the authority of the all-mighty Nixorbo, I'd also hesitate to wantonly insult Unisphere (over at Billy West's forum, he's the guy who posts nice pictures of Billy in his home, at recording sessions, etc.  If he's not Billy's alter-ego, or his publicist, I think he's a personal friend of the man.)

Anyway, back on topic, I wonder how expensive it is to produce a show like this.  The puppets seem to be pretty well done - lots of detail.  Does anyone know if it's more expensive to produce a puppet-based show like this or if animated shows are more expensive to produce?

I'd actually say it's about the same. With animation, you have to pay for the technology required to make it. With puppets, you have to pay for the minature sets, props and puppets - all of which are more expensive than you'd imagine.

Both take a lot longer to do than live-action shows, too. Animated shows take a long time to write, draw and animate, and have to go through several stages before completion (at least more professional shows like The Simpsons and Futurama do, anyway - shows like South Park can complete an episode in 4 days). Puppets are extremely hard to coreograph. One tiny mistake in the movement or a small problem with a prop and you have to start the shot all over again, and some shots will typically take hours to set up.

If the comments Matt Stone & Trey Parker made after doing Team America are anything to go by, I sure wouldn't want to work with puppets.
