That's the day after Labour Day and I remember the third season started out the day after Labour Day.

I recall reading somewhere that they were going to pump out four episodes for season four and then launch into season five, so I don't think the strike has much of an effect on this.

EDIT: Okay, original source lied. It starts on September 16th now.

And it has.

I wonder who's supposed to "go" next season. Cuddy?

Great way to start off the new season! Liked how Cuddy tried to 'counsel' House and Wilson! Plus it was cool to see some of the other doctors embrace House's cynicism. Wilson is grieving about Amber so he wants to start over and House and others won't let him. House even admitted to blaming himelf for Amber's death.

Plus, it was a shock that 13 has Huntington's. This new seasons looks promising, it will be interesting to see how the relationship between House and Wilson will work out. I give it 5/5.

They still don't have the new guys in the opening titles, that must be annoying.

I found it a bit meh.

Does anyone else really like the P.I. at all, though? He has one more episode left - I really hope he's going to get his spin-off after this.

Best episode of the season! It was amazing how House realized his father wasn't his real one when he was 12! Loved the Wilson and House scenes driving to the funeral, getting arrested, got into a fight that caused Wilson to throw a bottle at a church window! Awesome from beginning to end! It was shocking how those parents wanted their daighter dead as well. Powerful episode! 5/5!

ice, I don't care for him much individually but I do enjoy his interactions with house. He's actually a character who's as good at reading people's motives and as willing to call a spade a spade as House is, and in a way he's been House's temporary stand-in for Wilson, who normally plays this role for house.

the P.i is some comic relief this season needs and gives it that extra spice. I hope they find some more material for him.

Did someone say extra spice?

Opened and closed with lesbian sex this week.

Thought it was a pretty good episode overall...

This was a good episode. Not as good as last week's, though. Didn't really like the whole story with Thirteen. We all know she's dying and trying to make the most of what she has left. Liked the subplots of House hiring Lucas to investigate his co-workers, and Cuddy adopting a baby was cool. I give this episode 3/5. Next week's looks promising, though.

I knew it was going to happen, but I'm still pissed that Thirteen got herself rehired - I really do not like her character.

Wilson was amazing, though. Decent enough episode.

I didn't care for the first few seasons. I watched a few episodes last year and they were good. I think I have become a fan of the show this season.

Intriguing episode last night!  Quite an improvement from last week.   Liked how House was trying to give Cuddy a taste of motherhood.  The father and daughter who had the sleepwalking disease was quite a shock at the end.  Felt sorry for the mother who's baby Cuddy wanted to adopt.   The kiss between House and Cuddy makes you wonder if they'll get together......

Plus, it looked like Cuddy didn't want the baby after all thinking House was right about her being a mother.  Really good episode!  Too bad us fans have to wait 2 weeks for new episodes.  5/5.

They're tryin' to set him up for a spin off. Oddly enough, I still like his character, even though I think a spin off would be a bad idea.

Great episode! Interesting to see how House and his gang handled a agorophobic! Great chemistry between Chase and Cameron! Sure hope House and Cuddy get together, and it was surprising to see that Wilson had an interest in their relationship! Awesome episode!  House's dream of him being blown up with propane was hilarious!  I give it 5/5!

I'm mostly excited because, for once, the main guest star they've got is someone who's actually been in two of my favourite shows in the past. And that's pretty much never happened for me before.

The fact that it's extended does add to my excitement, though. I think this should could pull it off pretty well - that "House gets shot!!" S2 finale turned out pretty great.

House is on tonight.. in one minute when this is written. But I'd rather watch Scrubs which is on 21:30, I've completely lost interest in Prison Break which is on at 21:35.

GO SCRUBS!

Um, okay.

Extended episode was AWESOME. For the first time in a really long time, I actually felt the need to rewatch it. It was so well-shot and well-written and well-acted (I even felt sympathy for Thirteen, and I totally hate her!) and just so well done in pretty much every aspect.

Very compelling episode!  It was interesting to see how House can handle being held hostage.  Felt sorry for Thirteen, having to be the guinea pig.   All in all a really great episode.  The guy was extremely desparate to find out what was wrong with him, and in the end, even House didn't know.

As for Scrubs, I used to like it, too.  However I lost interest in it when I got into House.

I still have interest in Scrubs, they're just completely different (if you don't include that they involve a lot of doctors).

But yeah, I haven't seen much of the fourth seasson, I still have the 4 last episodes of season 3 to watch, then I will try to get into that 20 new characters in an instant thing.

HRm. Mixed feelings on this week's personally. I enjoyed it, but there was also a lot of "wtf" stuff.  Overall I think it was a good one, but the house/cuddy stuff just didn't seem natural to me this week (and usually it does, to me, though others don't always agree)

Totally called the fake patient, as soon as she appeared in the elevator.

There must be some sort of psychologist writers on this show, there's way too much mind game fuckery going on.

I didn't call it until Chase agreed to do surgery for a cut of the money. Chase is far more cautious than that, he's not going to risk his career by being involved in that incredibly stupid plan. But I agree on the psych(o) observation..

Also, how could I forget the best bit of the episode...

House: "What also floats?"
:silence from the team:
House: "The correct answer is 'a duck.'"

As soon as he asked the question, I immediately shouted out "A duck!" despite being alone at the time. When he said the same thing a few seconds later I fell out of my chair laughing.*

Liked yesterday's episode.  It was ironic when the cure for that fitness guru's illness was cake!  Liked the plot about the singing 'sick' woman, House helping Cuddy fix her office and Thirtheen's past regret about her mother.  All in all a great episode!

I demand more Kutner/Taub moments. Those two really work together, and the end with them was absolutely hilarious.

I'm really, really, really not caring for this House/Cuddy thing at all. I've never really liked shipping couples, at all, excluding like... two that come to mind immediately, and I've never been a fan of pairing someone up with House (aside from Stacy because that was pretty great actually) so this whole... shippy sort of plot between them is really starting to aggravate me.

The thing that makes it totally bearable are House's reactions to it, like "fixing" Cuddy's office and grabbing her boob. Still, I wish this aspect of the show would shut up and go away.

I just watched episode 319, House didn't have a big enough role in it, but I love his relationship with Wilson.

I don't usually watch House, the only reason being because I frequently forget when it is on, and when I actually do watch it, I love it. It is a great show, and it is easy to get into. My parents are like freaks over the show, and they record it and stuff. They were like that over Lost, too. Some shows do some wierd things to people...

...like Futurama...in a good way...

Very good Christmas themed episode.  It was a shock at the end when the teen girl's baby was still alive and being taken care of by homeless people.  The subplots about the couple who didn't know who the father was, and Foreman and 13 were great as well.  I predict that Cuddy will adopt that baby, and who knew that Kutner was a bully?

Plus, it was great seeing those cruel bullies get berated by the House team!  Won't see any new episodes until Janurary.
